An: I do NOT own Naruto. I don't own anything in this story other than the ideas. If I did, Naruto would be worse and the drawings would be worse.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Naruto successfully completed the Sasuke Retrieval Mission. Almost immediately she was put in jail for injuring a fellow shinobi. While almost everybody objected it but the Civilian Council, the people who initiated the order to arrest her. The amount of people on the council who voted for her arrest out numbered the ones who didn't, so here we are now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Naruto was at a loss of words.

She was being arrested in Konoha?! The same village she was raised in? The same village she had both friends and enemies in? The one where the (former) Hokage, Oji-san, lived and helped people everyday?

NO! No... no.

Naruto refused to believe this. It was unacceptable and stupid when you banish a ninja for completing a mission. It left a bad impression on many different people and it made trading harder, so why was the Civilian Council doing this to her? What was the point?

"C'mon, Demon," a Chunin said. "It's bad enough we're stuck with you. You could at least make our lives better by cooperating."

Their lives better? What about her? Was she always going to be the one who got in trouble? Was she always going to be alone?! Why was it her, in the first place?! She was aware of the demon in her gut but did that give them the right to treat her like that?

While Naruto was having troubled thoughts, the Chunin were taking her down to the cells, "Where she belonged". Life would be so much easier with the Demon Brat gone, thought one of the two Chunin. With the Demon Brat gone Konoha would be better!

The two Chunin finally stopped at the cell where Uzumaki Naruto would be held, pulling her out of her angry thoughts and accusations.

"Here you go, Demon Brat. Hope you like the stay!" He smirked while tossing her in her cell.

As she roughly landed she smirked back at him.

"Don't worry I will!"

She was quickly formulating a plan to get her out of there and beyond the Elemental Countries. Life there would be better!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She had been in the cell for a day and the rest of Team Seven was visiting her.
At first, all Naruto could hear was silence until Sakura broke it.
"Everybody misses you. All of us."
Naruto smiled but didn't say anything.
"I miss you! You're my best friend! What did you do to deserve this!" Sakura let a tear gently fall, showing how much this affected her. "Danzo originally proclaimed for you to be executed but they were against it. This is the best the Hokage could get you. I'm sorry! I'm so, so sorry!"
"Don't worry, Sakura. I'll be fine! So give me a smile! Will you be able to visit me again?" Naruto tried to calm her.
Sakura shook her head.
"So let my last look be a smile!"
Sakura smiled brightly and as happily as she could at the moment.
"Your turn is over! Get out, Genin!"
Wordlessly Sakura smiled one last time before hesitantly leaving the cell.
Next was Sasuke.
"I'm............. s-s-s-s-sorry...... I got you in... this... situation." Sasuke mumbled.
"Don't worry about it, Sasuke. It isn't your fault and it was going to happen anyway. It was just to find something illegal that I've done. They just want me in jail."
"But, still..."
"But still what? Look at me Sasuke. Does it look like I care?"
"Looks can be deceiving."
"Please leave, Lord Uchiha."
Sasuke apologetically looked at her and left the cell.
Kakashi-sensei was the last visitor for the day.
"I'm sorry, Naruto. For being unable to help you more. For not stopping the council." Kakashi-sensei mumbled before speaking up. "You know, you were my sensei's daughter. You look just like him with your mother's face and attitude. I can easily say that if they were still alive they would love you. I was supposed to be your brother\uncle, you know, so I'm sorry for not being there for you."
Naruto opened her eyes wide in shock. Her... brother? Her father was his sensei? Wha-
"Please leave, Hatake-sama."
He gave her a sorrowful look and left.
AAAAAnnnnndddd done! So, wha'cha think 'bout that, huh? Not bad for the first chapter of the first book I've made! So, like it? Hate it? Send me reviews of what I could do to improve!
