It's been a few days and we have been at the abandoned house. But it's been boring. We have been on our toes for what seems like forever because people are looking for us.
I bought an ax to protect us. My sister didn't think it was necessary nor safe. But when she was born I promised mom to keep her safe. This is something I can keep her safe with.
Today was different. I had a bad feeling. So, I kept the ax close and my sister closer. Well they say trust you gut and I did today. It was a bad choice. I heard a stick snap and grabbed my ax and held it out in front of me. I turned the swung with great force and the ax got stuff mid air. I opened my eyes to see the ax, I was holding, in a man's head. He was obviously dead. His skull had been split almost down to his eyes. I let go of the ax and his body fell to the ground with a thud. My sister came around the corner and screamed. I ran to her and covered her mouth and pushed her into another room.
"You Can't Just Kill People!" she shouted at me.
"I Was Protecting You!" I replied.
She then quickly said, "I have to tell the police."
"No! You can't!" I quickly ran around the corner grabbed the ax out of the man's head. I ran back to the room I shoved Naomi in. She looked petrified.
"You wouldn't do it to your own sister... Right?" She questioned me.
I replied, "I have no choice..."
With the same force I used to kill the man I used on my sister and chopped her head off. Her head rolled across the ground and her body laied motionless. I felt my eyes burn. What have I done? How could I have done this?
I proceedes to grab both bodies and put them in a corner and cover them with a blanket. I cried myself to sleep that night, knowing that I'm the reason I became an only child that day.
Knowing I am now a criminal...
