Hello, my name is Leah. I'm twenty-four years old. I live in a very small town called Ophelia. Ophelia is known for many animal attacks. The animal attacks have been getting a lot worse lately, everyone has been trying to stay safe as possible. My Uncle, Dan was one of many people who were killed or badly injured.
The police are investigating the crime scenes. I help within the cases. I work as a detective. I collect evidence from the scene and analyze it, then track them down and interrogate them once we catch them. I sometimes ask them if they know anything about the recent animal attacks that have been going on, but they always say they don't know.
My Father and My Uncle always used to tell me stories about these wonderful creatures, of course I always believed him. When I got older, I decided to abandon those beliefs and head on a new trail of beliefs. Don't get me wrong, I loved believing those childish things, but it's about time I grow up.
My Father was also a detective. As I was growing up, he taught me self-defense, how to track, how to hunt, how to be kind and gentle, he even told me stories about mysterious creatures who invade the night when we sleep. He was the best father I could ever ask for! My mother on the other hand...she left when I was a baby. She told my father she wasn't ready to have a kid yet. After I was born she left when she was ready to be discharged.
I didn't like my mother that much, even though I didn't know her. Father told me all kinds of stories about my mother too, he didn't want me to hate her even though SHE left because she wasn't ready to have a child and take care of one.
Years later, I studied to become a detective like my father. I joined the police force when I was nine-teen, my grades and knowledge were that good. Five years later, I became the best detective on the police force, and now here I am, in the present.
This story is about how I discovered what was really going on, and how they came to be.
