Jay's P.O.V

Raven was trembling all over and I couldn't hold back tears. I don't usually cry but I couldn't stop the tears from coming. I was glad that Raven couldn't see my face since she was still clinging to me and had her head in my chest.

Raven's P.O.V

I heard Jay breathing become a little more shallow like he was crying and I wondered why. After a while of use sitting like that Jay cleared his throat, "let's go for a walk," he said and I just nodded. "We can take the front door nobody is home," he nodded and sniffled. Maybe he had bad allergies. We both silently got up and left the house.

The walk through town was comforting. It just made me realize how much this place has became a home to me. Jay held my hand the whole time. When we reached the drugstore a familiar figure appeared. It was Ice. "Hey," he grinned and then he saw our faces and saw something was wrong. "What happened," he look confused. "Oh nothing," Jay said and Ice took the hint. "Did you see that a new kid has moved in at the old Jansen's place," said Ice changing the subject. "Huh, I wonder why," Jay said while lighting a cigarette. "Does he have any siblings," I asked. "Yeah. A little girl that's about eight, she seems to be a real brat," Ice said.

The three of us started walking towards the old Jansen's place. It was good to laugh and joke again. I wasn't even afraid that May would see me. Suddenly Jay pulled me into his side and put his arm around me and I did the same. Ice was grinning like a lunatic. Then we arrived at the house there was a guy about my age in the garage and he seemed pissed. We decided to stay out of sight but not make it obvious that we were. "He seems like a real winner," Jay said sarcastically. "He seems pissed," me and Ice both say. "Let's get out of here," Jay said.
