In the morning, Alfred goes to the school library before first period starts to return a late book, while Gilbert and Mathias went to get breakfast from the cafeteria...
The school librarian is an old friend of Alfred's dad, so he has many chances to turn in overdue books.
"Morning, Ivan", Alfred says as he enters the half filled library. Ivan was standing on the counter; when he saw Alfred, he smiles and nods.
"Good morning, Alfred. Ready to start the day?"
"Actually, I am", Alfred says, walking to the counter to give Ivan his overdue book.
Ivan takes the book and marks it on the computer, 'returned' "How is Arthur doing?"
"Kinda okay, but his job isn't paying him a lot like last year's", Alfred says.
"I see..."
The boy took a look at the clock above the exit, realizing that first period begins in ten minutes. Alfred quickly ignores the current conversation about his dad and leans in closer to Ivan.
"I have a favor to ask of you... Do you wanna take it?"
Just in case it was a risky favor, Ivan glances around to make sure they weren't being listened to. "Да?", he says in pretty low tone.
Alfred reaches to his pocket and pulls out a small strip of white paper, with his phone number written on it. "If you see an Asian guy with black hair, carrying around a white satchel, could you give him this?"
Ivan blinked, sort of confused, but he took the paper and nodded slightly. "I will do my best to keep an eye out."
He folds the paper and places it in his jacket's pocket. Sometimes Alfred can't figure out why he loves wearing warm clothing, especially today... It was almost seventy degrees...
Alfred just smiles and thanks him, before he makes his way out and find his pals in the cafeteria.
Even though Ivan accepted the favor to lookout for the boy, Kiku (as Alfred had read the name on his Instagram biography), Alfred was also in search of him. He doesn't really pay attention to some students in his classes, but if he can try looking around in them, he might have Kiku in one of his classes...
In his first class, American Literature, there was no sign of Kiku... Hours pass with Gym, Engineering; nothing.
Trigonometry? Obviously not. Alfred has his full attention in that class to be unsure about Kiku taking the class... If he doesn't, his dad and Bonnefoy would get in a mess again. Feliciano takes the class with Alfred, so that can mean the Italian might know where Kiku can be! But Alfred didn't want to look suspicious...
During that class, Alfred was slowly starting to give up on hope for the hunt; he needed twice the help. He wanted to ask Gilbert and Mathias, but Mathias just went to the restroom and Gilbert is passing homework sheets around. Poor Gilbert, having to do stuff for Bonnefoy...
Gilbert hands the last sheet to Matthew and shows him a nice smile before heading back to his seat. He thinks that it's crazy to have Matthew compared to Alfred!
"Yo, Gil", Alfred whispered. "Isn't Feliciano your brother's friend?"
"Huh? Ja, I know him. Why?"
"I need you to do something for me... Just for today--"
"Alfred", Bonnefoy called strictly from the front.
"I'll tell you later", Alfred said, and looked down at what he was supposed to be working on. He raises his hand to ask a question. When Francis looked, he didn't answer and went back to his desk...
