Imno's POV

Two small masses sit at my feet. One black with navy blue shine to its fur and the other white with red tips and black horns. One with 5 tails and the other with 8. I scowl at the two foxes and they smile playfully back at me.

My pillow hits the white one right in the face as I curse at them to scram. In seconds the two disguised gods disappear into the light and shadows. What do those two want now? I hiss under my breath as I scan my bedroom for any pranks or 'presents' they might have left me.

Illusioned green collars appear all over my room and floor and bed. I feel my face distort to visual annoyance and anger as I screech in immaturity. I kick my covers off and walk through the illusioned insult to my bathroom so I can go run some cold water on my face.

As I look in the mirror and see and feel that I look the same as I had fallen asleep. Tail, six horns, six wings. I make my tail and crystal wings disappear back into my body. Only horns and my grey wings left visible.

"Fucking kitsune gods. I'll throw pixie dust on their beds for this." I mutter to myself as I wash my face and drink some sink water from my hands. Sitting on the lip of the tub, I try to wake myself up probably, but I only start to feel more tired.

Almost on cue I hear Cloy burst into my room and then his sudden muffled amusement fills my ears. He walks into the bathroom with his hand over his mouth.

"I didn't do this master, I swear," He says to me but I only give him a intolerant side glare.

"Make some breakfast and leave me alone. I'll ask questions afterwards. If our guests sleep in then let them," I command with a annoyed bark in my voice. My familiar just nods and hastily leaves. I hear the door close and I head to my closet to get dressed.

Green collars litter everywhere in my room. There is probably hundreds of them. I kick something hard. One of the collars moves when I touch it. Great... some are real. I am so going to glitter those two trickers later for this insult. I am seen with a girl once and they send me collars. I can only imagine the teasing they will give me when they realize my reaction to her when I saw my old mate.

I shake my head to clear it. I'll clean my room later. I stretch my wings and head out my door to breakfast. I go straight for the dinning table and sit at the head seat. My head is fuzzy from sleep and I can feel colorful hysteria bubbling into my mind. I don't even notice Cloy approaching me with a cup of warm tea.

The click of porcelain against the wooden table snaps me awake. My feathers stand on end as I steady my mind and body to understand again. I need my medicine. Cloy doesn't talk to me. I can't even look him in the eye right now and my body doesn't know why. I hastily grab the warm liquid and drink it down. The room temperature leaf water tastes bitter at first but then goes sweet. A few breaths later and my senses and mind feels normal again.

It is early dawn. The sunlight shines through from the garden. My friend looks like a butler with his clothing choices today. I chose to wear a simple white shirt with tight cuffs and dark green pants. The tea hits my stomach and I feel my fairy madness calm down.

"Cloy." I say calmly as I put the teacup down. "Did you bring Zital here? The girl's bodyguard?"
"Yes, they should both be asleep or waking up right now." He answers me with a rather bored expression. I take down the last of my medicine tea and look around at the plants growing from the walls. A good, long, few moments of silence pass.

"She looks so similar." I say at last.
"She does," Cloy replies. "But is she?"
"I don't know but I want to find out. Her father agreed to let her be mine so I can figure out for sure." I keep my voice solemn.
"Do you think she appreciates it?" My friend asks me the question he knows I will be soon to ask myself.
