-Lonely, Circa 2022

Khaleesi picks at her bare fingernails as she stares down at her hands, she had relieved herself of her acrylic press-ons. She figured she go ahead and remove them since the baby would be coming soon. She rests comfortably in a chair that's placed in the corner of the living room, the air feeling warm and still around her—the TV on a low volume. "Alrighty, it's looking good Ace. Healing properly too." The doctor fixes his bifocals then removes them, he gathers his backpack and stands up. Khaleesi using her upper strength to do the same, she was getting weighed down by the day—9 months to be exact.

"Thank you so much for coming, do you know when we can take the stitches out?"

"Of course and soon, another two weeks and he will be fine. No extracurriculars, you don't want to mess with your wound." Khaleesi knew what he meant, he was the family's personal doctor—she nods her head and holds her hand out towards the foyer.

"We understand, do you know your way out or?"

"By now yes, have a nice night you two." Khaleesi smiles gently and watches as he walks away from the living room, she could already feel Ace's eyes on her being. As soon as he reached the door she makes her way to the stairs, her hand caressing her bulging tummy.  The smell of fresh cookies lingering in the air, she had put a tray of chocolate chip sweets in the oven earlier—they were almost done but definitely not yet.

"Wait, Leesi." He walks over to her shifting figure. Her fingers flicking pieces of hair out her face, Khaleesi sighs waiting for him. "Stay with me tonight." For the past two weeks she's been going over her mother's house at night time, having one of his people take her all the way across town to be away from him. Ever since the baby shower she's been ignoring Ace, she realized that their love is not unconditional. "I miss you and Alari."

"You know it's not a good time right now."

"So when is the right time? We can't be fighting like this, baby. Just stay tonight and if you wanna leave I'll take you."

"I don't know, I still have a lot to think about."

"Think about what? Leesi, it's been months! You wanna leave?"
