TIMOTHY'S POV
As soon as I heard gun shots I rushed inside and there I saw Irvine laying on the floor covered with blood.
"This is your fault." I shouted to Khalil
Khalil looks up, exhausted.
"Timothy, I-"
"No." I step forward, rage in my voice.
"You were supposed to stay away from her from the start. You were not meant for each other! But you needed to just remain in her life, and now look what you did! Clea shot her all because of you! I warned you since the very start of your relationship!"
Khalil hangs his head, his shoulders heavy with shame. He has no defense. No excuse.
"I warned you. And now? I'm through letting you be in her life."
Khalil's head snaps up.
"You can't just -"
"Watch me." I said.
Khalil catches the finality in his eyes.
I made up my mind. And there's nothing Khalil can do to help.

I stares at Irvine while she's asleep; this will be the last time I will see her before she leaves.
"She needs to be safe. And the only way to do that is get her far, far away from Clea." I said to myself
I pulled out my phone and calls our aunt in the Philippines.
"Tita, I need you to watch over Irvine. She's coming to you as soon as she's discharged."
I exhales violently after the call and darkens. Step one is getting Irvine to safety. Step two? Destroying Clea.
"Clea, all you ever wanted was to take everything from me? Now, it's my turn." I murmured
My nail-grips my phone, plotting the next step - Because this time, I won't rest until Clea is utterly destroyed.

IRVINE'S POV
Back to the Present
I got to school early and asked our professor if he knew where Khalil lived or if he had any other information about him.
"Irvine, why are you asking so many questions about Mr. Khalil? Do you like him or something?" the professor teased.
"What? No way, Prof! It's just that I am fascinated since I met him" I said looking away from our professor.
"...with my looks and high standards, there's no way I would fall for someone like him!" I felt proud to say.
But as much as I begged the professor for more information, he refused to tell me anything.

KHALIL'S POV
On my way to my next class earlier, I saw Irvine talking to our professor. I overheard everything she said.
"But this isn't the time for you to know everything, Irvine," I muttered softly.
I walked inside the class and she was coming towards me. We had fun talks, but I could tell she wanted to squeeze some information out of me.
"Hmmm, Irvine, I will take you home." It's already time to go.
"Yeah, sure," she said.
I drove her home and bid her good night.
