New day, new coffee, new work, new people.

After 10 years spending everyday with people he knew since being young, he got transferred to the other side of the country to work at the new building of the company that gave him his first job. He didn't show it, but it made him sad having to leave all his friends behind, plus he felt a little worried on how they would survive as the living mess. By miracle Jeonghan met his soulmate a week before he left, which somehow relieved him as Joshua seemed like a calm guy who would have to control the whole group that sometimes were more like kids than adults reaching their thirties.

Before standing up from his bed he took his phone, checking some messages from his friends and laughing a bit after reading the spamming of Seokmin and Seungkwan, the first one expressing how much he's already missing him (even though it's been only a day), while the second one almost panicking as he just noticed that he probably met his soulmate while leaving him on the airport. "Why do I have to have tattooed "oh, nice ass"?!?!?" "Couldn't my soulmate think something else about me?!" "Hyung, how can I find him now? HEEEEEELP", Jihoon just laughed while reading his messages out loud, replying shortly and leaving his phone charging while he prepared for his first day on the new area.

As every morning, he only took 30 minutes to leave his apartment. Joshua had gave him the idea to try to keep the same routine he's always had, as he had done that after arriving to the country. Seeing how Joshua already looked so comfortable, even though he was coming from a whole different continent, he decided to follow the advice. While he checked that everything was on his bag, he kept giving bites to the sandwich he prepared before sleeping last night. In the middle of his eating, he checked the hour, almost chocking immediately and rapidly picking up everything and leaving the place.

Usually, he would try to be minimum half an hour early on his workplace, but for today he wanted to be an hour early to have time to see the place and get used to some faces. He had forgot that his entrance time was an hour earlier than what he was used to, which now gave him only 15 minutes to arrive just in time. "Fuck, I will not have time for buying a coffee", he growled low, already feeling that his day won't be good with skipping his needed daily coffee.

Even though he lived only five blocks away from the building, the distance would be too long for a normal walk, which is why he ended up running the fastest he could, checking almost every 30 seconds his watch. His mood was already bad, but he would have to endure it and save all the possible screaming and bad looks to himself or his notebook (which he forgot at home, but hasn't notice yet).

He stopped running some meters before arriving to the building, leaning to the front and leaving his hands over his knees, tired from the sudden run. After some seconds of recovering air, he looked up and noticed a guy waving his hand at him. Confused, he stand up and started walking towards the guy, standing in front of him and frowning a little. "Why were you waving at me?" He asked, crossing his arms while trying to not look tired or show that he just ran to the place. "Oh, I'm a friend of Joshua, he told me that you would be coming here, plus he mentioned that I should get you a coffee if you weren't here at least 30 minutes before your entrance time. Everyone here calls me Vernon, but my close friends call me Hansol. Do whichever makes you feel more comfortable." He offered the cup of coffee to Jihoon, which he took a little doubtful but didn't wait much on giving the first sip, smiling a little and feeling how his day immediately improved, "I'm Jihoon, nice to meet you".

Both entered the building, first remaining in silence, but it didn't took much time for the youngest to speak. "I guess you've never been to this part of the country", Jihoon moved his head to the sides, sipping again his coffee, "When you feel ready to, I can take you to some places" Vernon showed a smile, touching the button of the elevator and looking down at his new boss, taking a deep breath and understanding that he is as silent as himself, which was good as he didn't had to put effort on making a talk. After the elevator opened, Jihoon entered first, being followed by Vernon who touched one of the buttons and remain silent for some seconds. "You will like it here, we're all very friendly. Wonwoo is very calm, Mingyu can be either a mess or not. We knew each other before and got transferred here the same day, I'm sure you will like them." "Haven't you talked with the rest of the people here?" Vernon denied with moving his head, scratching the back of his neck and showing a small smile while feeling caught. "I'm not the type of person to interact that much with my surroundings, I enjoy being alone or with people who can be calm too" explained while looking at the screen that finally showed the floor that they were waiting for, "I'll show you where's your office, plus where are the ones of Wonwoo, Mingyu and mine, we're all in the same floor and area". The doors opened, with Jihoon humming a yes, remaining silent while following his new coworker.
