I sighed out of relief pulling the tray of muffin out of the oven letting out a sigh of pleasure smelling the delicious freshly baked muffins of different flavours then sat them down in a open window to cold Down.

I clapped my hands Dustin off the flower and took off my apron and hanged it up then turned around looking at the kitchen in a baking mess, I groan too lazy to clean right now but I know if I don't do it now I won't later.

"...I'll do it later when I'm back" I said skipping out of the kitchen and upstairs to clean and get ready to head out,

Today I'm going to visit alder kettle and the cup bros as usual, it became a daily  routine to visit those two everyday they were the first people I met when I moved here about a year ago they were very friendly, of course the brothers were curious about I mean how can they not? I'm a human and they...talking tea cups I don't blame them.

Honestly I was nervous at first coming to inkwell Isle I was told I won't be excepted there I'll be treated differently because of how different I am from them I won't be liked and could get hurt because they think I don't belong in their home.

But it was completely the opposite! everybody was so kind to me they didn't treat me any different then any other person, yes I did get some questions here and there but nothing too harmful, I've become pretty well known in this Island and well loved.

In the past year and half I've met almost everyone in this Island and grow a bond with all of them but non of them come close to the one I have with cuphead and mugman a year might be a short time for some people but it was enough time for us to grew closer to each other.

and now we're like attached to the hip, always hanging out together everyday in almost every part of inkwell Isle even people start calling us, the Three Musketeers with cuphead getting in troubles and mugman trying to stop him from causing troubles and me pulling them out of troubles with my knowledge of the law and lawyer skills.

Oh yeah I didn't mention I'm studying from home to be lawyer, I know, shocking. But I always had a sense of justice and hate how innocents were punished because there wasn't enough proof or their lawyers didn't even try and won't if the money isn't good.

There is another reason but I won't get into it or it will ruin my whole good mood for today.

I put down my hair brush and stood in front of the mirror looking over my appearance, one more time just to make sure I look decent.

a short White top High waisted jeans and a light pink Open cardigan pretty casual and comfortable for today and it complements my figure I wasn't too skinny or too chubby perfectly in the middle with some thickness of course but who can Complain about that.

I pushed few strands of hair back and smiled satisfied with my look grabbing my small bag and putting it over me then ran downstairs and into the kitchen, I put the muffins in a basket and covered them with a cloth lifted the basket, put on my shoes and head out the door.

It wasn't a long walk before I saw a tiny cottage coming into my few and two cups trying to catch butterflies and alder kettle napping behind I drawn closer to them and it didn't take long before mugman notices me and his eyes light up with a big smile and shouts for cuphead then waves excitedly cuphead looks over and his smile grow both yelling my name and running towards me.

Mugman was the first to reach me and jumped me for a hug which I returned with one arms then cuphead throw in arm around my shoulder and grabbed a muffin.

"Sweet! You brought your delicious muffins!" He took a bite then looked back at me "so tell us our soon to be adult, how's it feels for your upcoming 18 birthday and finally be pronounced as an adult. Any intakes?" He said while still chowing and putting the half eaten muffin in front of my face a mice I smirk at him and push the muffin away.

"Won't be any different then when I turned 17" I answered getting out of their arms and kept walking.

"What are you planning to do for your birthday?" Asked mugman walking next to me.

" probably a small party with you guys and alder kettle and the others"

"He means what are you going to do after that" cuphead butt in snatching another muffin while mugman mumbled that's not what he meant at all.

"Umm...keep hanging out with you and study?" I said and he groan loudly.

" Boooring. You gonna be a legal adult and a few weeks (y/n) and you wanna spend it studying!? You can finally go out and have fun do whatever you want, go to awesome parties, Casinos and drink alcohol!" He said putting his arm around my shoulder leaning on me and throw the muffin in the air and into his mouth I huffed and pushed him off.

"These are things you wanna do Cuphead wait for you two turns in a few months then do whatever you want" I said smacking his hand from taking another one and head towards alder kettle already awake and up smiling at me.

"(Y/n)! It's good to see you again" he said as I hugged him.

"It's good to see you too alder kettle even though I was here yesterday and the day before and basically every day" I said giggling while alder kettle full heartedly laugh.

"And it becomes more joyful everyday" he laughs petting my head I couldn't help but smile even more.

"Here I brought you and the boys some muffins I made" I handed him the basket watching his eyes widen and lick his umm.. lips? in delight taking the basket.

"Thank you dear. Me and the boys never get tired of the delicious treats you bring everyday"

"Well, I think it'll be impolite if I come here everyday without something to give"

"Nonsense kiddo! You're welcome here every day at anytime I won't even mind if you lived here!" Me and him laugh together I always loved how caring elder kettle is always patient and understanding I wish I had that growing up.

"Come on (y/n)! Give him the basket and let's go!" I hear cuphead yell I softly glared at him but stopped when alder kettle ruffled my hair.

"I see you three are hanging out today. Well, don't let me hold you back more you know how impatient cuphead could get unlike mugman" he whispered the last part and I giggle given him one last hug and ran towards the two.

"Have fun you three and keep them out of trouble for me (y/n)!" He yelled as we walked further away.

" I will!" I shouted back giggling as cuphead started complaining how he still treats them like kids even though we all will be adults this year.

This day started off really well but...I can't shake this feeling that something bad is gonna happen soon.

Don't. Ask. Just don't I don't know what came over me I watched the cuphead show, absolutely love it. Then Watch the game with the dlc then watched the Casino cups series and now my cuphead phase is back and there's nothing I can do about it and the story plot immediately came into me I just had to write it.

Btw I Finally graduated! Yay
