Throughout the next couple of days since you were casted as the female protagonist, Ayaka did some more auditioning. It had taken her awhile to actually decide for the other roles, but for me it was pretty quick. On the 15th, everyone was given there roles and coincidentally, everyone had the same names as the actors, except for the male protagonist, Scaramouche, which was played by Teppei, and the main antagonist, Dottore, who was played by Ayaka's brother, Kamisato Ayato.

Today, you had received your costumes and scripts. You had quickly gotten changed into your costume. You looked at yourself through a tall slender mirror. For some reason, these clothes, this outfit felt extremely familiar to you and you didn't know why.

"Y/n!" You hear a voice calling out for you. The voice brought you out of your daydream.

"Yes?" You yell back. You could hear footsteps walking towards the room you were in. The door was gradually opened. There before you, you noticed that Ayaka was there. "Ayaka? What are you doing here?" You question.

"Y/n, are you ready? Did you read through your lines?" Ayaka asks as she walks towards you. "We're about to start practicing for the play soon."  You rolled your eyes as you glance back at Ayaka.

"Of course I did! How many scenes will we be practicing today?" You question. Ayaka shrugs her shoulders.

"I'm not sure. I suppose we'll get is maximum of three, finished today?" Ayaka says hesitantly. "Anyway, we need to hurry, everyone is waiting for you!" Ayaka exclaims as she reaches out her hand and gently grabs your wrist. She pulls you out of the dressing room, onto the stage. Everyone was gathered around, speaking to one another. Many looked nervous, some looked completely unaffected.

It was the very first scene that you were practicing, and the most important one. It was the catalyst of the entire story itself. Without it, the story would probably have never happened in the first place.
