Opposites attract (Ashlyn x Aiden)

Rain

Aiden POV
"Ugh, it's raining.." Ashlyn mumbled.
"I forgot my jacket-" I said.
"Dumbass," Ashlyn said.
"You're the one who didn't even want to bring one" I responded.
"Let's just get home.." Ashlyn said.
"I'll carry the bags or your skateboard if you want" I offered.
"Uh carry my skateboard," Ashlyn said.
I grabbed her skateboard from behind the vending machine. I looked at the smiley faces on her skateboard.
"Your skateboard is really cool Ash!" I said.
"Thanks, we should get running though," she said.
I nodded. We both sprinted up the street. Many people looked at us like we were crazy but we just kept running. When we got to her house everyone went onto the porch and took the bags out of Ashlyn's hand.
"Thanks-" she said.
We all went back inside and upstairs. Ashlyn sat on her bed. Then Taylor pulled Ben to the side.

Third person with Taylor and Ben
"You need to convince Aiden to confess or flirt!" Taylor said to Ben. Ben texted her so they continued the conversation via text

Ben: how?
Taylor: Idk, but it's obvious that Ashlyn feels something for Aiden!
Ben: what if she doesn't like her? That would break his heart.
Taylor: but what if she does? They'd be so cute together!
Ben: fine. I'll talk to him.
Taylor: thank you!!

Aidens POV
Taylor came back in and Ben didn't. Ashlyn sat on her bed. Logan, Tyler, and Taylor sat on the floor. "Don't you guys wanna sit up here?" Ashlyn said. "Nah- but Aiden can," Taylor said.
I felt myself blush a little bit. Why do they want me to sit with her?! Okay, I need to calm down.
"Um okay? Come on Aiden" Ashlyn said.
I sat beside her on the bed. Then my phone went off. I checked. It was a message from Ben.
Ben: do you like Ashlyn?
Aiden: what no!
Ben: don't lie to me
Aiden: fine. I do
Ben: you need to hint at it with her- she has some feelings for you too but doesn't want to admit it.
Aiden: she does?
Ben: it's so obvious Aiden.
Aiden: what do I do?
Ben:idk?
Aiden: that was so helpful.
Ben: I know right, okay I'm coming back in now
Aiden: Okay

Ben came back into the room.
"Who were you texting?" Ashlyn asked me.
"Oh just someone," I said.
She looked away from me. Was she..jealous?
"It was no one important ash- at least not as important as you" I mumbled the last part.
Ashlyn blushed a bit.
"What?" she asked.
"Oh, nothing!" I said.
"Did you just- say I was important to you?" She asked.
I felt my face get hot.
"Yeah.." I admitted.
Ashlyn smiled a bit but tried to hide it.
"Okay, the movies starting!" Taylor said excitedly. The movie came on. The screen said 'jaws'
"jaws? Really?" Tyler said.
"I just wanted something scary," Taylor said.
"You think this will scare us after what we see every night?" Tyler said.
"SHHHHH" Taylor shhh him.
Everyone laughed a bit and continued watching. The movie ended around 10:23 pm. Everyone was asleep on the floor. But I was beside Ashlyn on her bed. I couldn't fall asleep. It just felt so awkward- so I pretended to sleep. I heard Ashlyn get up. She left the room. I got up and followed her into the kitchen. "Ash?" I asked.
She jumped when I said her name.
"Woah- sorry you scared me-" she said.
"Oh my bad- why are you up?" I asked.
"Um- it was just kinda awkward sleeping beside you-" she admitted.
"I can sleep on the floor if you want?" I offered.
"No, it's fine!" She said a bit defensive.
"Okay," I said.
I went over the the table to grab a drink. I saw some pictures that Ashlyn took of the group. She had pictures of the group together, then she had a few photos of just me. I picked it up and looked at the picture of myself.
"Aiden-? Oh!" She realized I saw it.
"You.. have photos of me," I said.
She got a bit embarrassed.
"I'm sorry- I just- um-" she was stuttering.
"It's fine Ash," I said.
I grabbed a Fanta. Ashlyn's phone dinged.
"Oh- it's Taylor. She wants to know where we are-" she said.
"We should get back upstairs," I said.
She nodded. We both went back upstairs and back into the room.
"Where were you guys?!" Taylor asked.
"Getting a drink?" I said.
"With each other? Did anything happen?" Taylor asked.
"No-?" Ashlyn said.
Taylor sighed.
"Aww." She went back to sleep.
"That was weird?" Ashlyn said.
I sipped my Fanta. Ashlyn got back in bed so I did too. I lay beside her and yawned.
"Tired?" Ashlyn asked.
I nodded. "Same here- good night Aiden," she said. "Good night Ash"
In the phantom realm
ASHLYN POV
"I almost forgot about this.." I mumbled. 
"Okay so we need to get to that house: there are more weapons," Tyler said.
"Okay," I said.
"I-I'm gonna stay here.. with my sniper," Logan said. "Okay no problem," Taylor said.
"Everyone has their rope- AIDEN" Aiden jumped off the wall of the graveyard.
"It's okay! I'm durable" he said.
We all went down with the ropes.
"Aiden! Are you okay?!" I asked worriedly.
"I'm fine- let's go" he started running toward the house.
We got to the front door when we realized it was locked.
"Shit!" Aiden cursed.
"We'll go get the keys," Taylor said.
Ben and Tyler followed her. Aiden tried to but he fell.
"Aiden?" I asked.
I looked and realized he hurt his ankles pretty badly. "So much for being durable," I said.
"Shut up" he kept trying to get up.
I was about to help him when something grabbed me from above. Its clawed hands grabbed onto my shirt. Lifting me into the air.
"AIDEN-" I yelled.
"Huh-" he didn't notice at first. When he saw me getting dragged up his smile faded for the first time. "ASH!" He screamed.
