Chapter 17: A New Life For Sameera

It's 6:00 am in the morning and all the cousins were ready to go back to the palace. Vikram asked Sameera to get into the car, but suddenly she refused -

"Not now, guys!! There's something left which has to be closed before we go"- Sameera said suddenly.

"What again?"- Pranav asked.

"We can't go back until and unless we clear the matters with Aarav. Seems to be like you almost forgot him"- Sameera replied.

"That's true! Then we'll call him tomorrow to the palace. That will be more convenient. What do you say?"- Vikram suggested.

"Let's talk to him. I will call Aarav and tell him that I'm in Udaipur. He will come to me for sure"- Sameera put forth her idea.

"I don't think he will. I met him on my way back from Mussoorie. He promised me that he won't harm you until you get to know your truth. Calling him here is a bad idea. Drop it"- Pranav refused.

"But as per my knowledge, he still means something for me. To speak honestly, he is the most important person than all of you. I call him my brother from the day I stepped into their family. I am not coming with you until I meet him. Rest is your choice"- Sameera announced.

"She is right!! Aarav is her brother till yesterday. She cannot break their bond because of us. Please call him here, bhaiyya"- Vikram agreed with her words.

"Fine then"- Pranav agreed and pulled out his phone from his pocket. He dialled to him. Within few seconds, Aarav's secretary attended the call - "Hello?"

"Hello, Can I speak to Mr. Aarav Malhotra please?"- Pranav said.

"Sure but who's this speaking?"- secretary asked.

Before Pranav could mention his name, Sameera grabbed the call and said - "Tarun, tell Mr. Aarav that Sameera Malhotra is on the call, immediately".

As he heard her name, he responded - "Hello Ma'am. Just a minute". He connected the call to Aarav's phone and said - "Sir, you have a call from your sister. She is on line".

Aarav immediately asnwered the phone and said - "Hello, Sam?"

"Hey! How are you, brother?"- Sameera asked by moving far from others and holding back her emotions.

"I am freaking worried!! Where have you been?" - he asked.

"Well, if you would know then I would be dead already, right?"- Sameera asked.

Aarav has no response for a minute. He gathered the courage and said - "So you already know about my attempts to kill you. Fine, then I'll be honest you. I was once intended to destroy you coz' I thought you entered into our lives and made it miserable. I never wanted an outsider to break my little family. It took sometime to understand that you deserve a place in our family. Before I could completely accept it, I lost Muma and Papa in that accident. So you are the only family I had at that time. I accepted you like more than my sister. I cared you and I loved you but one day I came to know that you are a princess of some royal family and they abandoned you as a kid. My dad brought you home and this is the reason why my father and mother were killed by a pre planned accident. they got murdered because of giving shelter to you. At that moment, I decided to destroy your world like how you did mine"- Aarav spoke out the truth.

"So this is why you wanted to kill me? If you still want me dead, then come and kill me"- Sameera told with a burst of cry.

"Once I wanted it, but not now. Do you know why? because it was my past which haunted me till yesterday but someone made me realise how hard your life is. Your life is a messier than mine. I had grudges on you but in reality, that accident was fatal. it has nothing to do with you. Apart from this, I never hated you; not even a bit. I don't want to trouble you anymore. You are my sister till my last breath and no brother want their sister to be in trouble. I am Sorry, Sameera, forgive me for one last time. I promise, I will let you face anything alone"- Aarav felt guilty.

"I forgive you, my brother. I love you. I know you love me and will understand me one day. See, it finally happened"- Sameera exclaimed in happiness.

"Haa...of course but there is someone else who loves you more than I do. Do you know who ended my hatred towards you?"- Aarav said with a smirk.

"Who would do other than you?"- Sameera confused.

"Arey...it's Pranav. He loves you. He met me in the train and somehow convinced me not to search for you. I accepted it only on a condition; to tell you about your past. I thought he wouldn't fulfil his word but last night he called me and informed that he found you and told you everything. I was not expecting this but I felt his sincerity towards you. He left no stone unturned in your matters. He also warned me that he will go to any end if you further get any trouble because of me. I must admit that he loves you unconditionally and I am sure about it"- Aarav confessed Pranav's truth.

"You might be mistaken, Aarav. In that case, he would have definitely talked to me. I don't think he loves me"- Sameera was awestruck.

"He is. I don't know why he didn't confess till now but he will surely do. That day is not so far. What if he confess his love for you? Will you accept his love?"- Aarav questioned.

"I..I have no idea. Let's end this topic here. By the way, I am going back to my palace today. I hope you will come whenever you reminds me"- Sameera replied confusingly.

"Sure. I will. Any ways, all the best, Sam. I wish you a happy new life from today" - Aarav wished and disconnected the call.

Sameera was happier than before, but fallen into a huge thought after listening to Aarav's words about Pranav. She never thought about the possibility of falling in love with each other. By drowning in the thoughts, Sameera went towards the car where Vikram, Jahnvi and Pranav were standing. Seeing her arrival, Pranav said - "Happy to hear apology from him?"

"You already know it but didn't tell me. This is why I don't trust you, Mr. Lier!!"- Sameera annoyed.

"I neither lied nor told you the truth. But isn't it surprising to you?"- Pranav asked.

"You are really impossible to understand, Pranav. I lost in studying you"- Sameera gave up her words,

"But I won your heart, I guess. You seems to be happy and that's all I wanted"- Pranav smiled by looking at her grin.

"Thank you!! So this is true that you really....." - Sameera was about to ask Pranav about his feelings but Vikram interrupted.

"Shall we leave, guys!! I am freaking excited to surprise them"- Vikram said.

"Sure!!"- Sameera and Pranav said in unison and got into the car.

Everyone were nervous about their surprise but Sameera was still thinking about Pranav's confession. In few minutes, they reached the palace and the time was almost 7:00 in the morning. Guards had opened the gates and let the car come in. "Finally!!" - Vikram and Pranav expressed their relief about bringing her back and ending their responsibility.

Shivendra, who had no idea of their arrival had stepped out into the garden for his morning walk. When he was almost done with the walk, he noticed a car coming towards the centre fountain. He went towards them and recognised that they are his nephews in the car. When they are getting off the car, he stopped them and asked - "I told you to stay back at the hotel. Why did you come back soon? Is she all alone there?". When he started raining his questions, Vikram gestured towards the back seat. Shivendra peeped in and saw Sameera who was getting out from the car. He has no words out of joy. He pulled Vikram and Pranav into his arms and said - "Y..You did it? Really? I have no words how to thank you both. You gave me another life to live, my boys. Thank you". Shivendra distanced himself from both and walked towards Sameera where he is still couldn't able to believe his own eyes.
