Chapter 12: Sameera Wants To Leave

Raani maa felt emotional about the sufferings of her grandchildren. On the other side, Prerna reached the Ahuja Manor. Seeing her returning from the long journey, Amit said - "Shefali! Someone's came for you!!".

Prerna heard his sarcastic taunt and replied - "Maybe your husband turned old than before, mom! You better keep an eye on him".

"I can manage him but what about you? why did you leave without telling a word to your dad. I asked you to talk with your dad about it but you chose not listen our words, isn't it?"- Shefali angered.

"Take a chill pill, mom. Why do you worry about me so much? If you had given a quarter part of care you show for me to my brother, then he would have come here today!!"- Prerna countered.

"Just have a look over here, Pretty lady!!"- A voice grabbed the attention. it was Pranav.

As soon as she looked him, she jumped onto him and embraced him in joy. "What a stupid you are? Why didn't you tell me earlier. I would have been dead if you won't show up after these many years"- Prerna complained.

"I will not go back until you wants me to leave, deal done?"- Pranav replied.

"Maybe you are destined for something great today, I guess. Maybe because you are about to meet some kind of angel tonight?"- Prerna said with a suspicious smile.

"What do you mean by that?"- Pranav asked casually by pulling her suitcase into the house.

"I got a new friend from Dehradun and she's here with us, in Udaipur. She's staying at the palace tonight. If you could get any interest in her after meeting her at palace tonight, I get you married to her"- Prerna replied with a smirk.

"Seriously? I guess, Vikram made you to meet his stupid friend who might be just like him, stupid and irresponsible. I prefer you to stay away from trips or hangouts with them"- Pranav said sternly.

"Okay then, I will stay away. but why can't you find any girl for you. You are absolutely handsome and quite impressive, then why girls are never interested in you. neither in past nor in present. At least, I must try to find one for you"- Prerna blabbered.

"Shut up, Prerna!!"- Pranav said in an annoyed tone.

"Should I get my new friend for you? Or you have someone already in your mind?"- Prerna said again.

"I said SHUT UP!! Will you leave, please"- Pranav replied rudely and pushed her towards her room.

"Okay I will"- Prerna left.

While parallelly in the palace, Raani maa walked into Sameera's room where she was already fallen asleep on the bed. Raani maa walked towards her, and shook her to wake up. "Mira, get up!!". Sameera woke up on the first note she heard Raani maa's voice.

"Yes, Raani maa. Sorry, I was feeling tired so I just had a quick nap"- Sameera apologized.

"That's okay, dear. I don't mind it. I brought you some clothes to wear for tonight's gathering. I hope you will like it"- Raani maa said softly.

"Actually, I want to ask a favour from you, Raani maa. Please don't mind if I say anything wrong"- Sameera hesitated.

"Tell me without any hesitation, dear. I don't mind if it is reasonable"- Raani maa replied and seated on the bed beside her.

"I cannot join you in your family gathering nor I can accept your hospitality. I came here in an awkward situations, Raani maa. I troubled Mr, Vikram and all his cousins by accompanying them to here. I feel that I must have denied them earlier when I sneaked into Mr. Vikram's car and it lead to here. I am extremely sorry for what I did. Now I think, I must leave from here as soon as I can. I cannot depend anymore on your grandson's favours. I am sorry if I have spoke anything wrong"- Sameera explained.

Raani maa listened everything quietly and replied calmly. "I can understand your problem, dear. Actually, I am surprised that you are denying all the precious things we're offering you and you are completely sticked and devoted towards your ethics and values. That makes you different from others. But how can I let you go when it is not safe outside this palace? Where will you go, dear? I cannot let you go, Mira!!"- Raani maa said affectionately.

"I am a commando, Raani maa. I can take care of everything which I had to face. Believe me"- Sameera replied hopefully.

Raani maa couldn't convince her more while she had already made up her mind. Raani maa stood up and said- "I couldn't able to convince you since you had already decided. I will call the driver to drop you at your place safely. Let me tell to Vikram about it"

"Don't tell anything to Mr. Vikram, Raani maa. He would stop me if he knows and I don't want to face him with embarrassment of denying his words"- Sameera replied.

"As you like, Mira"- Raani maa said and walked away.

On the other side at the Ahuja manor, Shefali rushed into Pranav's room. When she entered and looked him lying on the bed, she shouted at him - "Shame on you, Pranav. You call yourself as a disciplined Army man but never acts like you are"

"What happened so suddenly, Mumma? and why you are dressed like you are attending any wedding?" - Pranav asked.

"Looks like you forgot what you said earlier when you returned from your dad's office. We are having a family gathering tonight, idiot. get ready soon"- Shefali reminded.

"Oh!! I almost forgot about it. I'll catch you at the palace after I get ready. You, dad and Prerna can leave if you are all set to leave"- Pranav replied and rushed to get ready.

"Then me and your dad will leave now. You come with Prerna after she gets ready too"- Shefali said and left from his room.

"No one would ever complain about this girl's tantrums but always have issues with me"- Pranav rolled his eyes and moved towards his wardrobe.

Few minutes later, Pranav got dressed in a mustard-yellow kurta and white pyjama. it was 3:00 pm and they were getting late to the palace. Prerna was taking so long to get ready, so Pranav called out her -

"Are you ready or should I leave you here and go?"

"Fine, I am ready. Just give me a minute"- Prerna replied and went to grab her car keys.

"Are you going to drive now?"- Pranav asked.

"Yeah! Shouldn't I drive?"- Prerna countered.

"Of course, you can. Shall we start? We're already late"- Pranav said. They both stepped out and started to leave for the palace.

At the palace, Raani maa made the servants to decorate the whole palace with all the roses and daisies. Sameera came out of her room and walked towards the entrance where Raani maa was standing. She went closer to her and said- "I am leaving, Raani maa. Thank you for everything that you and Mr. Vikram gave me. I owe you forever".

"I really don't want you to go, Mira. Can't you stay back here for a bit longer for my sake?"- Raani maa requested.

"I wish I could but it's better to leave, Raani maa"- Sameera replied.

"So really you are leaving without saying a proper goodbye to us, right? I thought you are my good friend, Mira"- Jahnvi joined them and Vidya, Karan too followed her.

"I will really miss you, Jahnvi"- Sameera replied.

"I will miss you too, Mira. But remember one thing, I will find you back wherever you would be"- Jahnvi said in an emotional tone.

"There's a car waiting for you at the gate. Driver will drop you at the station. Have a safe journey, Mira"- Raani maa said.

Sameera left the palace and got into the car. The driver drove the car to Railway Station.

Few minutes after Sameera left, Pranav and Prerna arrived to the palace.
