FireStar paced outside the Medicine den, so far Daisy was the only cat to become ill but who knew how long it would take for another cat to get infected.
He was just about to poke his head into the den when AlderHeart came rushing through the entrance.
"FireStar! FireStar!" He gasped, his flanks heaving.
"AlderHeart? What's wrong?"
At that moment JayFeather exploded from the den, literally. "We're testing out different herbs!" He explained, "Some create interesting results."
"Oh... Hey AlderHeart." He mewed, nodding in AlderHeart's direction.
AlderHeart sighed and turned back to FireStar, "Listen," He started, "We need to clean the MoonPool! BlueStar yelled at me!"
FireStar stared back at AlderHeart, his expression perplexed. "What?" He said, "Your telling me that BlueStar told us to clean?!"
"No." AlderHeart mewed, "BlueStar told me to clean. But SpottedLeaf told us to clean."
"Ohhhhhhhh"
FireStar tried to figure out what to do, "Well," he started, "Only leaders and Medicine cats will go to the MoonPool and we will get all the other clans to help because I love teamwork!"
AlderHeart looked doubtful but didn't say anything.
"Okay then!" FireStar exclaimed, "Lets make our way towards ShadowClan, we can start there! I'm sure that BlackStar will cooperate."
"LeafPool! JayFeather!"
LeafPool and JayFeather padded out of the medicine den, "What do you want?" LeafPool inquired.
"We're going to the MoonPool and every clan." FireStar answered cheerfully.
"What!?" JayFeather replied.
"Are you telling us to leave Daisy by her self!?" LeafPool cried.
"Yes." FireStar answered, "This is clearly more important."
JayFeather and LeafPool exchanged glances. "Okay then. I guess BrightHeart can look after her." LeafPool mewed.
"Onward!" FireStar yelled as he led the way out of the camp, "To ShadowClan camp!!"
-----MothWing------
MothWing had been collecting herbs along the lake, she came back into camp with a mouthful of Coltsfoot. She was startled to see FireStar in her camp with JayFeather, AlderHeart and LeafPool.
"We have already been to ShadowClan and WindClan."
MothWing caught pieces of their conversation with MistyStar as she headed towards her den. She ducked inside and saw WillowShine sorting the herbs out.
"What's happening?" MothWing asked.
"I'm not really that sure," Her apprentice replied, "FireStar just arrived."
"MothWing! WillowShine!"
MothWing heard MistyStar's voice, "Come out here!"
MothWing padded out after WillowShine and went over to her leader. "What is it?" She asked.
"We're going to the MoonPool. There's been an incident." MistyStar answered.
"AlderHeart got yelled at by BlueStar because the MoonPool was covered in branches," FireStar explained, "So each clan clearly has to help clean it."
WillowShine looked as if she might protest, but closed her mouth.
"Um. That's weird." MothWing stated, "But okay!"
"Great." AlderHeart said, "Lets go to the MoonPool!!"
-----Narrator moment-------
The seven cats made their way up to the MoonPool, each cat think very different thoughts.
FireStar was thinking about how great teamwork was.
AlderHeart was playing dramatic music in his head.
MothWing was thinking about how AlderHeart must be hallucinating.
MistyStar was planning her next fish pie recipe out in her head.
WillowShine's head was empty. No thoughts. Only darkness.
JayFeather was inside AlderHeart's thoughts and dancing to the music.
LeafPool was thinking about how embarrassing her dad was.
