The Hunter's Wrath

Chapter 7

"What on earth is that?" Louis asked picking up the metal thing from the desk.

"This is what Mafia technology looks like" Grandpa said taking out the ammo for the thing from the safe.

     *******Back at the house*******

Lucy parked her car and got down. She stretched and slowly walked into the house. She took out her Iphone and dialed her dad's number while taking a bottle of water from the fridge.

"Hello dear!" Her father said immediately he picked up. "Hi dad, I just wanted to let you know that I'm going for a sleepover at Jenny's house" she told him pouring the water into a sippy cup.

"Ok, but what of Louis?" He asked. "He went over to his grandpa's place I think he'll spend the night there" she told him

"Okay, see you tomorrow" he said and cut the call. It was already 6:08pm and grandpa's house was about a 45 minutes drive from home .

"Well I'll just get some rest in the car when I get there" she said and picked up the car keys once again.

In a short while, she pulled over in front of the house and turned off the car. Almost the next minute Louis strolled out of the house wearing a white long sleeved shirt that stop at his ankles with a turtle neck.

"I hope he doesn't get killed " she said and sighed as he approached the car. He opened the back door and got into the car quietly.

"You ready for tonight?" She asked. "Very ready " Louis said with utmost confidence making Lucy wonder what he's grandpa had told him.

"So a vehicle containing gold worth a hundred and seven million dollars is going to pass through a highway this evening" she started.

"It's going to be guarded by the army with 4 huge cars each containing an army squad. It's also going to be followed by 3 army helicopters with 4 soldiers in each fully armed" she continued.

"Apart from the military, we got word that another Mafia is going after the same gold so we came up with a plan" she said turning on the car and slowly reversing.

"The Mafia going after the gold is well equipped and can easily handle the military, but they'll be followed by three hunters who'll Keep a safe distance. When they're done with the military we'll show up and hijack the vehicle" she concluded.

The plan sounded pretty smart to Louis and he could barely wait for the action.
Lucy stepped on the accelerator and sped off towards town.

She connected her phone to the car and started a group call with the rest. "Max, Cassy, Victor, are you in position?" She asked.

"Yeah, we're in a gasoline truck and the vehicle just passed by which means the wolves are on their way" a man replied.

"Good! Cody and Jacob, drive two trucks and park them close the center of the road to guarantee our escape" she said.

"Alright boss!" The two chorused. "I'm gonna serve as the sniper from the roof top" she said pulling out a brief case from under her seat.

"Louis is gonna show us what he's got in the heat of battle " she said and grinned.
Louis' mind wasn't even there, all that he thought off was the pressure point gun Grandpa had given him.

"Okay guys the wolves just passed in a van we're on their tail right now" Max said.

"We're in position" Cody said turning off the truck. "Okay Louis, I'm going to the roof top, you better make me proud" she said taking the brief case and leaving the car.

Just as Lucy had said the vehicle was followed with four huge military cars and three helicopters. As anticipated the wolves van had a machine gun stationed on top of it with a one of them ready to fire.

"3, 2, 1" Lucy said just before the machine gun started firing. Two men jumped out of the van and began to fire the tires of the military cars with snipers.

Two ladies hopped out a moment later equally equipped with snipers and shut the helicopters right out of the sky.

The military men stood no chance against the wolves and in less than three minutes no man was left to tell the story.

"Nice" Lucy said with a smile before taking a sniper out of her brief case and and loading it up.

The driver of the gold vehicle immediately got down and ran for his life. As the wolves approached the vehicle, Max, Victor and Cassy arrived with shotguns knowing that they hadn't reloaded their snipers.

Louis almost screamed as gunshots filled the air but he knew it was his time to prove himself.

He took out the fox mask from his clothes and put it on before grabbing the pressure point gun and hopping out of the car.

Lucy had killed about three of them from above but she definitely hadn't seen the reinforcements coming.

The reinforcements came in another van with revolvers and pistols and Lucy began to think of retreating.

"Louis get out of here!" Max said considering the heat of the battle. Grandpa's voice filled his head and he walked closer gripping the device even tighter.

The pressure point gun works with the mask in a complex way. The human body has several pressure points that cause temporary damage to the body but doesn't kill. The mask can see this points and with one pull of the trigger the gun knocks your opponent unconscious. That's the power of the masked assassin

Louis stared at his opponents in fear and pointed the gun towards them, "one shot" he yelled before pulling the trigger.

Tiny needles flew out and stuck themselves in various places of the lady causing her to fall unconscious.

For a moment everyone stood there frozen in shock. "What the heck?" Lucy questioned dumbfounded.

Before anyone could react he pulled the trigger several more times and the wolves were all in one pile of unconscious bodies.

"Snap out of it and get the gold" Louis said with authority in his voice before running off towards Cody and getting into the truck.
