The Hunter's Wrath

Chapter 12

Louis spent almost the entire week at Grandpa's house.The two would sit in the basement talking for hours and on that Faithful Thursday, they cracked the code.

Cornelius was as old as grandpa would probably prefer to stay in one place that to be moved around.

Grandpa was sure that he was here in New York City because of his daughter's recent wedding photos.

Wherever Cornelius lived had to be an undisclosed location at least for others but definitely not for Grandpa.

"Cornelius' most protected mansion is here in New York. It's designed to look a sky scraper and the only way in is from above, whereas Cornelius lives underground " Louis explained.

"In each floor of the 17 floor sky scrapper there are at least 20 men stationed with guns all the way down to the basement that leads to Cornelius' main suite." Louis continued looking around to see if everyone was following.

"The door to the basement is protected by three men each armed with a pressure point gun. The door into his suite is equally guarded with three men with a similar weapon. Inside the suite about ten men guard the whole place with pistols" Louis concluded and drew in a breath.

"So with hearing that we'll conclude that this mission is impossible " Cody said with amusement in his tone. He had began to return to his normal self again.

"Actually after hearing what Louis had to say I came up with something." Lucy stated with a smile.

"For the fact that we're clearly outnumbered a one on one fight would be clearly useless. That's why we'll focus on grenades and dynamites instead of guns and knives " She said and the group began to speak amongst themselves.

"There's no point in having men stationed in all 17 floors if they'll all end up dead when we knock the building off it's foundation" she continued with a wide grin on her face.

"So you're saying we throw a bag of grenades at the ground floor" Ella said finally speaking up.

"Not exactly, when a package is delivered to Mr. Cornelius it's taking up using an external elevator and then brought in from the top" Louis explained.

"Exactly, so we deliver a huge box of dynamite and just before it's put into the elevator we blow it up. While the dust is clearing, Cody drops the bag of grenades at the other side using a helicopter " She said and received a nod from Cody.

"Everyone inside that building should be dead and then we'll be left with the men guarding the basement. We'll have to move fast so before they can react we'll throw in a few grenades and send them to heaven" Lucy continued. She could see the smile on everyone's faces as she mentioned sending them to heaven.

"With the impact from above the men guarding the suite should come up to check and that's when I'll use my sniper to finish them off"  She said looking around to see if everyone was following.

"The men inside the suite are only armed with pistols so with the aid of our bullet proof vests we should be able to go one on one from there." She said before running her hands through her hair.

"We're not exactly sure how many men guard the inside of his room so we'll really just wing it from there" she said and shrugged.

"This mission just got so possible" Cody said causing everyone else to start laughing."I've gotta confess it's a pretty brilliant plan, I like how you used the grenades there" he said with an evil grin on his face.

"So we're doing this in three days, I want all the materials we need ready by then" Lucy said and received a nod from everyone. She sighed and threw herself into a chair.

   ******** A few hours later*********

When the two returned home they were met with the shock of their lives. "Guess who's home" Mr. Philip said pointing towards the living room door.

The two walked towards the door and opened it slowly. Louis almost fainted at the sight of Matt!!. "Matt!" Lucy yelled running towards him and almost jumping on him. "oh jeez" Louis said under his breath as Matt tilted his neck towards him.
