chapter - 23

After Kookie's fever was completely gone, he continued to go to his work again. Kook is still working 2 shifts. As usual, he comes home late after work. Today, it is very late and he did not come home.

Taehyung looked at the clock lot again, it's already 11 : 35 pm, usually kook gets home at 8:30pm. He doesn't even have a phone to call kook. He decided to go to the place where the kook was working and search for kook.

Tae got up from the couch and went to the room, then put on a puffer jacket because it was snowing and very cold outside. After putting on a pair of shoes, Tae walked out of the room.

Then he heard someone knocking on the door and the bell ringing. He immediately opened the door. It was Jimin and Jimin was crying. His face was red "Kookiee......kookiee" Jimin took a deep breath and tried to say but his sobs interrupted him.

"What about kook" Tae asked, Jimin's condition made Tae nervous. Then Jimin grabbed Tae's wrist and started running quickly with Tae. Tae was confused.

"Tell Jimin, WHAT HAPPENED TO KOOKIE" Tae shouted.

"Come with me," Jimin said.

After a while, Jimin put Tae into a car that was parked there, and Jimin sat in the driver's seat and started driving.

"Tell me, Jimin, what happened to my kook, where are we going?" Tae asked in a vulnerable voice.Jimin's actions are causing a lot of pain inside Tae and Tae is starting to worry if something happened to Kook.

Jimin looked at Tae. Tae's eyes show the pain inside him

"I'm sorry" Jimin said.

Jimin stopped the car in front of a little cozy restaurant. Taehyung looked at Jimin suspiciously.

"Go inside" jimin said to Tae

Taehyung exited the car and took small steps and walked towards the small cozy restaurant

That small cozy restaurant adorned with a beautiful floral decorations that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The windows are decorated with delicate white fairy lights twinkling softly against the winter night.  The exterior of the the restaurant is constructed of exposed brick, adding a rustic and Charming touch to the overall feel.

Tae stood there for a while enjoying all this. The exterior of this restaurant is attractive to anyone.

Tae opened the door of the restaurant and stepped inside. As attractive as it was on the outside, the inside was equally attractive.

Taehyung entered inside and he was greeted by the soft glow hanging pendent lights casting a warm and inviting glow throughout the place. The seating areas features cushioned chairs and wooden tables, each table is adorned with a small vase holding a freshly picked flowers.

That's when Taehyung saw a paper on a table. He looked around and saw no customers or workers. He looked outside and didn't see jimin and his car

'where did jimin go' he thought. Nothing felt right to him. He took the paper in his hands and read it.

This is our restaurant - Jungkook Tae is shocked suddenly

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY "

He looked towards the direction of the voice and Taehyung's heart skipped a beat.

His husband is standing there with a cake in his hand and a full blown bunny smile on his face. He had forgotten what today was.

Tae was visibly shaking. He went to his husband. Jungkook placed the cake in his hand on a table.

Tae asked holding kook's hand. "Is this our restaurant?"

Kook replied with a small smile, cupping Tae's face and looking at him.

"I mean it when say that I want to have kept you happy, I know how much you are hurting because you don't have a job. I have seen you looking for a job at every place and coming back disappointed.

I know that taking care of me is the main motive behind you getting a job.My happiness is in you hubby.

That's why I started working more. I saved the income I got from that, then I had some income from the part-time job I did while I was at the orphanage.

The scholarships I got from school, cash prizes and money given by visitors who came to visit the orphanage. With all this money, I bought this for us.

It was mrs kang's own restaurant and she decided to give it as our marriage gift. I said I don't want such a big gift.

After some months I said I want to buy this, then she sold me this restaurant at a low price. She also said that he considers me like his own son. I changed the interior and exterior of this restaurant with the remaining cash and bought the necessary stocks.

Now hubby don't need to look for work anywhere outside, from now on we can work here together. Hubby can take care of me as hubby wants " Jungkook flashed his iconic bunny smile after completing his words.

Taehyung's heart swelled with gratitude and love. Tears of joy streamed down his face as he embraced Jungkook tightly.

" Thank you, Thank you soo much my love. I don't have words for how much this means to me. I love you, i love you kookie "
Taehyung said.

He couldn't put his inner feelings into words, and he is very happy to have such a husband. No one has ever done so much for him.

He cupped Kook's face and kissed him. Both of them shared their love and thankfulness through that kiss. After some time they broke from that kiss.

Kook wiped Taehyung's tears and said, "Don't thank me, hubby, always your tears should be for happiness, not because of pain, and that will be the greatest gift for me from my hubby."

Taehyung kissed Kook's forehead as a promise. Kook's heart was filled with joy. Every gesture of his husband still never fails to make him happy.

Then Mrs kang and Yoonmin come in and wish Tae. Tae then cut the cake and fed it to kook and then to the others. Then they  celebrated that night.
