I was in the middle of an ancient Egyptian project, there was a hidden tomb inside this tunnel that was recently discovered and I offer3d to come down here and help translate some of the written messages on the wall and explore the cavern.
I was about to explore this open cavern inside the tunnel, when the campsite's head of operations ran in.
' Amelia it's your dad somethings happened.' Sally said.
I ran out of that cave so fast and grabbed the phone from Dani.
' DAD!' I asked putting the phone to my ear.
' Amelia there's been an incident, Eric and Ben went parasailing at Isla Sorna.' I sucked in my breath already knowing what he was about to say. I had been at that island for an internship when I was seventeen with Dr. Sarah. of course my parents didn't know that if they had found out the intern ship was gonna take to an island full of dinosaurs they would have freaked.
' where should I meet you.' I ask.
' we are going to dinner to talk with someone who can help, i'll have nash call you with the name of the airport.' He said.
it was the next moring I met my parents at the plane and they said they were just waiting for the guys they hired to come along.
Soon a car pulled up and Dr. Alan Grant and another guy got out.
I turned to my mother ' Dr. Grant is who you hired, how much are you spending.'
Dr. Grant came up to me me and I held my hand out.
' Dr. Grant, Amelia Kirby its an honor to meet you.' I said shaking his hand.
' Amelia Kirby, I hear-'
' Um, I would rather that not come up around my parents they don't know.' I whisper.
' I cant blame you.' he said.
I got in the plane and sat down.
Dr. Grant's friend sat down next to me.
' Hi, im Billy.' He said, ' and your Amelia Kirby.'
' Yeah.'
' I read your book.' he said and laughed slightly.
' oh that, yeah I make a scrapbook of all my adventures.' I said, a little embarrassed for some reason.
' That's really cool.' Billy said, I smiled at him, turning my head and putting in my earbuds to listen to some music while looking out the window.
