Karina's POV

"Fuck," I breathe, "Feel good?" She chuckles making my body vibrate. I quickly nod and her fist grips my hair, tucking lightly and letting go, "Tell me if it's too much." I can hear the smile on her lips. Her hand slide down my back and squeeze my sides. Usually, every single insecure thought would run through my head, making me push her off, but I felt so good that I didn't even care. Her hands were so soft yet firm that every time her hands moved it sent goosebumps down my skin.

"Just like that." I groan, as her hands travel up my back, her nails scraping my back until she came to my shoulders, squeezing them. I let my head rest on the couch and my eyes closed.

"OW, DEV!"I whine, "What what what what!? I literally didn't move!" She panics crawling off of me, "Dude your pointy ass knee directly on my spine isn't what I imagined when you said 'massage". And here I thought I would get 10/10 service." I huffed jokingly, pushing myself up. "Well my bad, I didn't graduate from masseuse school." She rolled her eyes as she plopped down next to me.

I giggle, "But I do feel a bit more relaxed, thank you." She nods her head, "Good, 'cause I need a nap. And I'm taking Atina with me," She snatches the cat up from her resting place, "Don't forget to make dinner, yeah?" She turns her head slightly to look at me from the corner of her eye. "Yes, Madame!" I shout saluting her. She rolls her eyes and disappears down the hall.

I let myself fall back onto the couch as my hand blindly searches for my phone. I pull it out from between the seat cushion and aimlessly scroll through social media until I hear the front door click and endless chatter. I stay still on the couch, listening to the little girl tell her mother and bestie about how fast she was going when in reality she was probably trotting. Her little voice travels to the side of the couch so I decided to sit up. She spots me and her smile widens, jumping at me.

"Not on the couch, Lili!" Elizabeth calls from the door where she's taking off her shoes. The little girl doesn't pay any mind to her mother and continues her journey into my arms and places herself on my lap, facing me to continue her blabber. As she's talking I take off her boots for her and place them on the floor, trying my best not to get any dirt onto the carpet. I pick her up and the little girl protests, "I'm not done telling you my story!" She huffs, craning her neck to look at me, "You need to wash up." Elizabeth interjected before I could say anything.

After some more protesting Lili drags herself down to her bathroom to take a shower. I watch her amused as she bumps into walls, occasionally dropping her boots on the floor and dramatically picking them up. I'm brought out of my trance by Tomma coming up behind me.

"Looks like you and Dev had fun." He points to the cushions on the ground. I shove him and make my way to the kitchen, "I'm joking, apparently that massage didn't lighten you up," I roll my eyes, and make my way to the fridge to look for ingredients. "Only one thing can lighten me up and that won't happen. So I guess you're stuck with my grumpy ass until Elizabeth kills me." I smirk at him as I pull put cucumbers, beets, and feta from the fridge.

"She's not going to kill you. She's too nice." I let out a pitiful laugh, "Are you fucking with me? She hasn't smiled for more than two seconds since I met her. The day she smiles is the day I die, literally." I chuckle. Tomma doesn't find it too amusing because he stomps off, arms crossed. "Don't go far dinner will be ready soon!" I call after him.

I chop up my ingredients and make a big salad out of them while I put some tomato soup, that Dev made, on the stove. I start to play some music on my phone and I let my body move to the beat a little bit so I can quickly recover if someone walks in.

"Everyday" starts playing and I can't help myself. I jump a little bit more, swinging my spoon left and right, getting tomato soup on the floor. I quickly clean it up before Dev comes in and kills me.
