The Earth right now has undergone major after affects after we found Scribbler Moon. Scribbler Moon is the untechnical name for Planet1170.0. It was the 1st alien planet that was bigger than Earth. Planet1170.0 got it's nickname because of the dozen moons surrounding scattered around it. Scribbler Moon is a large factor in the moon bombings, since we accidentally started a war with them 14 years ago.

We were celebrating the new century by sending not one, but three rockets out onto Mars. Fireworks were in the sky and people were attending barbecues, when NASA sent the additional rover out to contact Scribbler Moon. At that time they were able to do this without the vote of the people, so it was ok to keep it Top Secret. There were a few misunderstandings in communication, which they do not specify, and a war began. Some of the after affects are one; the moon has been bombed, two; radiation levels have increased, and three; there aren't any seasons. The This incident is a reason that NASA owes a debt to the people of the world.

We went to the NASA amusement park for class. NASA went big after it's dry streak in 2026, when they sent the first Mars mission. They had said that it they would send people every two years, and with that in mind, the brave wanted to go with. They made more programs and soon wanted to interest not only the young adults but also the children of the world. It seemed to be that an amusement park was the best way to promote it towards a young crowd and it did become a hit.

"What ride do you want to go on first? " My friend Clark asks me.

"Uh, why don't we hit the simulations first? " They have over 30 simulations to try out both physical and hypothetical.

"Ok, fist stop simulations! " By the age of 12 the space programs start engaging you in. Within a year you can apply for training. I'm 13 so I've already managed to apply for training and got in. My training courses are every other day, just as they should be by the time a 13 year-old has chosen a course to try out for.

I chose to get a job for the engineering on Mars. If I get in, I'll be given the chance to go there and back after I'm at least 18. We are told to choose two, so my second was to be an environmentalist for Mars. We don't have to do all 12 grades of school to start learning for a profession. We go through seven and then we're out.

The main difference between the 21st century and my time, the 22nd century are that the 21st century was more problematic, denying, and were more close-minded. The 22nd so far are more understanding and open-minded. It's what led us to communicate with the E.T. and gain more knowledge, at least that's what they say.

We go to the simulations and each of us go on at least 15 sims each. We then go get food and head over to the rides. The lines are horrendous but most were worth it. The first we go onto is a strategy game which you need to detonate the bomb that is planted onto the moon and fly back without running into enemy crafts.

"Cut the blue wire! " Bella commands.

"I thought it was the black one." Clark replies while sniping at the blue.

"Don't worry it's the blue." I shout back. We go on till we detonate it but die when crashes the ship into another ship. We finished up with some Funnel Cake and went back to school.

" One hundred years and fourteen years ago, the planet was in a hole. It was a dark and stale hole, where knowledge was limited yet supplies still held. Our ancestors lived in this time. They decided that they needed to start another Enlightenment period if they wanted to get out of the dark and stale hole. So they brought back the interest in space. New Horizons was what they called it. At first they were all discouraged by those who did not believe what they wanted to do could be achieved, but that all changed when the group set out to find candidates for beta testing the mission to Mars. However, millions gave applications, this idea of newness and possibility lead to the foundation of the world we live in. Since that day, we have entered the Enlightenment period once more." Excerpt from the 6th grade history book called, The New Modern World.

"Today we are here to celebrate the 114th year of the Enlightenment period! " says Sage Evermoon, the Head of the Council of Continents.(Our joined union with the rest of the world)

Today's Enlightenment Day, the day where we celebrate NASA and the developments from the past till now. It's like what the USA used to do on the Fourth of July. The world now has many similarities and differences with the past.

We celebrate aliens and humans alike, but many do disagree with celebrating aliens since Scribbler Moon is an alien planet. Yet, my family loves this day since my grandma is a Marcallo descendant, or better known as an alien called the Martian.
