I watched the rocket launch. It was a beautiful sight, fiery and bold. It left wondering every time, How could anything so beautiful leave me so disgusted?. These humans think that they can take over our red planet. Coming here was a mistake. Disturbing Leonar, or as they call it Scribbler Moon, was another mistake. The war they have witnessed is just the beginning.

Mars was quiet before they came. It was peaceful they say. Apparently even flowers grew. Yes, my people tricked the humans into thinking Mars wasn't inhabitable, but they still came. They came and took samples, distributed out disease without realizing, and worst of all, one killed the King.
I wish I could see our flowers. I wish I could have seen what my ancestors called peace. I wish they just left my planet alone.
