It was a cold day but not exactly the coldest. I decided to take a walk and enjoy the cool air in the neautral time of year where I lived. I chose to walk through the skinny woods that surrounded a park nearby, there was crunchy dirty snow that must've been at least a week old covering the hard cold ground. You could hear the sound of children playing, cars gliding down the highway a little ways off in the distance distance. The trail I had been walking on wasn't a very distinct trail, it was slightly sunkin in and you could see the tire tracks of some people who ride fourwheelers back here. Most people who live around here have claimed to have seen strange things in the forest, dark shady figures, a black blur running through the trees. But I never really believed in any of that stuff, and it was the most peacefull place to have a nice quiet walk. It was daytime when I started walking and it quickly grew too an eery cold blue-yellow time of day. I started to grow fearful walking through the forest at this time of day. It was when most of the reports of strange things happening went to the police station. They were usually around late afternoon or early evening.id usually hear about them on the TV. Just the usuall stuff, strange sightings, caught on tape type things. I never thought that stuff was real but now I understand the fear they sensed walking through the forest at this time. The trees were tall and scary and cover up most of the sky with their long skinny branches overlooking the narrow path I was walking. It suddenly started getting cold and windy and the jacket I had on me couldn't really keep me warm enough in this wind.i had my arms clenched tight together, my hood over my head and my teeth chattering like crazy. I knew I didn't have much farther to walk before I could reach my car and drive to my warm soft bed at home. But there was no point in jogging or even fast-walking there, the wind would become even colder. So I kept steadily walking when I started to hear a faint whooshing sound, I looked to my left and noticed a faint glow in the trees near me, it started to glow brighter and brighter, and the brighter it glowed the colder it got. My eyes got bigger and bigger with fascination, curiosity, and a sense of fear at the amazing white-blue glow I was seeing. it stopped when it reached a certain height. Large enough for a full grown man to kneel down and see eye to eye with it. Nothing happened for at least ten minutes. I just stared at it. Watching it glow and shimmer, waiting for something spectacular to happen. But nothing did. I inched forward toward it, hearing the crunch of the snow under my large boots louder than ever. The closer I got the more fascinated I became with it . I got closer and closer until I was toe to toe with it. It wasn't anything solid It was just a bright big ball of light standing there before me. It wasn't until I looked around me I realized how cold it was where I was standing. It felt like my own spit froze every time I opened my mouth. I looked at the bright glowing ball of light hoping for some kind of reaction from it as I came closer to it. But... Nothing.. It hadn't moved or anything it was just there . I took my cold shivering arm and started reaching for the ball of light ever so slowly, my arm getting colder and colder. It was like reaching into pure cold. Then as I touch the ball if light it started growing bright and bigger and bigger I quickly moved my hand away and from the intensity of the ball of light I fell to the ground, the ball didn't stop getting bigger and closer it was almost like the light was consuming me, everything was turning Brighter I was taking short breathes fearing what was about to happen to me I tried to move to escape but I couldn't I couldn't move or blink or do anything. My heart starting racing, and I was filled with nothing but absolute fear. I kept trying to move and get away but I couldn't. All I could do was just sit there while a large whooshing bright light consumed me. It was covering my whole body, my heart beating faster than it ever was, my breathe short and fast my eyes darting everywhere looking for somekind of figure, but there was none. There was nothing but bright light around me. I could feel myself falling now. But my body never moved. I was falling deeper and deeper and the bright light was turning darker and darker as I fell deeper and deeper down a none existing hole in the ground that had suddenly appeared over me. And then. Everything was completely black, and I didn't see anything, and I couldn't hear anything. It was completely still and silent and black.
