Chapter 16

BTW I changed the way Ryder's name is spelled. I like it with a y instead of an i. It seems cooler to me. I only changed the place they were going. So you don't need to read the whole chapter again.

Silver's POV

"Harder I know you can do better! John yelled.

I hit as hard as I could I was starting to get annoyed and angry. We were now in the woods training. And the hot sun wasn't helping me. So when I punched John he flew back into a tree.

John gasped out."There you go that's better now all you have to do is move faster and keep your punches just as hard"

I breathed deeply and started to head towards John he was now sitting on the ground from the impact.

"Now its time to start mastering your powers"John grunted out as he stood up from the ground. John then threw me a water bottle and I opened it and drank from it. I then closed my water bottle and stood too.

John and I then started to walk deeper into the woods as I followed him.We then made it to a water fall.

"Silver you have all the elements earth,wind,fire,and water. So Silver let's see if you can do them. And by the way you need to take off your shoes"

I nodded."Okay let's do this"

"Now Silver all you have to do is be one with nature breath in the air"

I breathed in and then out.

"Feel the dirt between your feet"

I wiggled my feet in the dirt.

"Touch the water with one hand"

I touched the water with my right hand.

John then took out a black lighter with blue fire on it (just the cover of the lighter).

"Silver give me your left hand" I did as told. I wasn't afraid I was actually very intranced by the fire. John then flicked the lighter to life and as it sprung out it connected with my hand.

The fire was only a little blue spark. It wasn't hot only warm. I then looked to my right hand and saw a small water ball.

"Silver concentrate on the other elements too. They might be small at first but the stronger you get and the more you concentrate the stronger the element will get."

I then concentrated on wind and felt a light breeze go by. Then I concentrated on the earth wiggling my toes through the dirt and felt the ground shake underneath me.I smiled genuinely happy at my powers. I then looked to John and he smiled.

"Now that you've gotten your powers started we need to work on one by one. So what element would you like to start with Silver?"

I smirked."Fire of course"

"I knew you would say that. John laughed. Fire it is then. Now to get rid of your other elements just concentrate on turning them off.

I then concentrated. And before I knew it they were gone. But I still had fire. I then looked up at John and he was encouraging me to do it by myself. So I cupped both my hands together and concentrated on making the spark bigger.

I watched as the blue spark got bigger and brighter until both my palms were on fire. I lifted both my hands out of a cupping position and looked at my hands that were now on fire.

John then walked over with a smile and said. "We will work on the next one tomorrow because using your powers to much will drain your energy."

I then concentrated on the fire that was now on both my palms. The fire was a little spark again in tell finally it was gone. John and I then walked back to headquarters.

When we reached headquarters I said my goodbyes to John and thanked him. Then I headed back to Ryder's place.

While I was driving I remembered that Ryder asked me out. I groaned and hoped he didn't want to take me to a fancy restaurant. I really didn't feel like dressing up.

Ryder's POV (after Silver left)

I sighed happly and started to think of a place to go. After a while I decided to take her a small litttle diner about an hour away.

So to passs the time I decided to train. I went upstairs to go take shower. When I came out I put on a black T-shirt and black shorts. I then went to the gym.

The whole time while I was training I was thinking of Sabrina. The way she talks and the way her hair flows down her back. And the way she tries to ignore the shivers she gets when she's around me.

Sabrina will be the death of me.

Silver's POV

As soon as I made it to Ryder's place I bumped into my brother.

"Hey Sabrina." He smiled.

"Hello Ryan." I said with a face blank

"Sabrina I wondering if he could hang out tomorrow. You know as brother and sister". He asked nervously.

"Sure". I know he beat me and everthing and he's not really my brother. But I'll at least give him a chance to be a brother to me since he thinks we're family.

I then walked past him and headed to the staircase but stopped and said. "Stop calling me Sabrina my real name is Silver."I then continued going upstairs to get ready for my date with Ryder.

First I took a shower then when I was done I put on my underwear. And decided on wearing a white shirt with blue jean shorts.Then I slipped on my black ankle boots and walked to my bathroom. I grabbed my mascara and put it on. I just ran my figers through my hair and made it a little messy then I put on lip bam. After I was finish I grabbed my leather jacket and my phone. And I was finally ready.

I walked downstairs to see Ryder waiting for me in a black v-neck. And blue jeans that hung loosely around his waist with black high tops and a black leather jacket. When he saw me his breath hitched and he growled with lust in his eyes.

I smirked. Like what you see?

He nodded. And cleared his throat while scratching the back of his head nervously. He put his head down and switch from one foot to the other.

He looked up. "You look beautiful tonight" I then saw a blush forming on his face. I laughed. " Your blushing and thank you"He blushed more. "Your welcome. So shall we go." He asked.

"Yea let's go". I smiled.

Ryder was shocked at first but then he smiled back. And just like that we were off to our date.
