Chapter 17

Silver's Pov

Ryder drove for hours as I stared at the scenery. I started to get annoyed after a while and turned to face Ryder. I decided to ask him where we were going.

"Ryder where are we going we've been driving for an hour now."

He only smiled. And kept driving.

His smile was so sexy that it sent shivers down my spine. What is happening to me. No! It's not me its the mating bond it could never be me shivering over a smile.

I then turned back around and sighed.

He just chuckled. "Ok were here"

I then looked up and saw a small diner. Ryder then got out the car and opened it for me with a full grin. "Why are you grinning" Ryder grinned harder. "I'm grinning because you said yes to this date when I thought you'd say no"

I got out the car with a smirk on my face. And walked closer to Ryder. "I'm very unpredictable" I chuckled darkly. He sighed.

"Sabrina let's just have fun for tonight and forget about the past for a while. I know what I did to you will always haunt me. And I am truly sorry. Just let your guard down. You smiled at me today and I thought I imagined it but I didn't so please give me that smile again and let's have some fun"he pleaded.

I thought about it and decided to have fun and let my guard down today since I've been stressed out. And I did promise John that I'd give Ryder a chance. So with that thought I smiled again. " Alright" he smiled so big that I thought it would fall off his face. So Ryder held out is hand for me. I sighed and reluctantly took it. Then we walked into Rosie's Diner.

I looked at the small dinner it had big red booths red chairs and red tables. The floor was black and white it also had that typical old stereo that you see on the Simpsons.

"Is this ok?"

"Yes I like it all ready its nice and cosy like a homey feel"He breathed out a sigh of relief. "That's great"he chuckled.

We took a seat and a lady came around with our menus. She wore a yellow diner dress. She was really pretty. She had pink full lips her hair was brown and was in a high ponytail. All in all she was probably in her early 20's. I looked at her name tag and it read Jenny.

I kinda Recognized her but I shrugged it off "What can I get you guys today" She smiled.

I looked at my menu." I would like a burger and fries extra fries and extra tomatoes and mustard and ketchup. And a large Dr. Pepper"(kinda craving a burger and fries right now).

She then turned to Rider"I would like the same Jenny" Rider and I then gave Jenny back our menu.

"Yes Alpha"she then walked away to give the cook our orders.

I then ranked my brain after a couple of minutes of silence. After a while I remembered where I. recognized her from. It was High School sophmore year.

FLASHBACK

I walked into school with my head down as always. Never daring to look up from the floor. I turned the corner and bumped into a girl and dropped my books. I looked up and apologized to her before going back to pick up my vooks.

I only got a glance at her. She had brown shoudler length hair with blue eyes. She also had a heart shaped face. She was wearing a blue summer dress with brown ankle boots.

She bent down to help with my books. When we both stood up she smiled warmly at me. "Its fine it was just an accident"

I looked behind me and no one was there. So I decided to ask this girl if she was talking to me. "Are you talking to me"

Her voice was so soft and she spoke so sincerely to me that it was scary. She laughed."Yeah I'm talking to you. Who else would I be talking to."

I frowned. "Oh well please don't talk to me I'll get you in trouble with my pack"

Then she frowned." I don't care you seem really nice and I would like to be friends with you"

And from that day on we were friends until Ryder banned her from being my friend. She still told me we could be friend in secret. So neither of us would get in trouble.

But I never said goodbye to her when I left. I only packed my things and left after being beaten by Ryder and Chole. I wonder what happened to that bitch after I kicked her ass.

Anyway when I left that was senior year.

FLASHBACK OVER

"Sabrina?Hello?ARE YOU THERE?!" Ryder yelled.

"Yeah what do you want. And stop calling me Sabrina call me Silver and don't yell at me" I said in a calm tone.

"I wanted to know if you wanted to play twenty questions. And why do you want me to call you Silver?"

"Alright lets play twenty questions. I want you to ca me Silver because I said so" I answered.

He sighed and let it go. I smirked because he knew I wasn't gonna tell him anything else."No on with the twenty questions. You go first Ryder"

"Alright. What's your favourite color?"

"Blood red"

Ryder grimaced."Blue"

"Are you really giving us a chance"

"Yes" I sighed.

"Why did you always beat me?"I know he wanted us to forget about the past and have fun but I was curious. But I knew the answer I just wanted him to say it out loud.

"You were the reason for my best friends sadness. He told me it was your fault and how it happened. And you were also a weak wolf" he said softly. I nodded without emotion.

"Would you like to go on another date after this one?"

"We'll see"

The food finally came and we ate while still playing twenty questions. "How was it without me there at the pack house Ryder?" I asked curiously.

He sighed sadly."It was terrible I couldn't eat sleep or even think without you"

After that our twenty questions was over and he just finished eating and left. When we got there I went up stairs to my room while Ryder followed.

I turned to him and gave him a small smile."I had fun tonight"

Ryder scratched the back of his neck nervously and asked."Can I um kiss you"

I sighed."Alright" Ryder then walked closer to me and grabbed me by my waist. He pulled me close and bent down slowly. He captured my lips in a slow passionate kiss.

And then the kiss got heated. I moaned when he rubbed his big hands up and down my body. I felt him smirk through the kiss at the sound he got out of me. I bitt his lip gently and pulled. He groaned. I smirked into the kiss also. I then pulled away for air. If I had to pull back for air you know it was a good kiss.

We both pulled away."Goodnight Ryder"

"Goodnight beautiful"
