Y/n Pov:
I sat in the passenger seat of our car, my heart pounding, as we drove through the busy streets of Tokyo. Beside me, my husband Izana gripped the steering wheel tightly, his knuckles turning white. Tears streamed down his face, still shaken by the incident that had unfolded just hours ago. Our quadruplets, two baby girls and two baby boys, were fast asleep in the backseat.
We had always known that being a young Yakuza queen and her husband wouldn't be easy, but this situation was beyond anything we had ever imagined. Manila, Izana's ex-lover, had attempted to kidnap two of our precious babies, Izabella and Izaak. My protective instincts had kicked in immediately, and I had held onto them tightly, refusing to let go.
As we approached Yokohama, Izana placed a comforting hand on my thigh. I flinched at the touch, my nerves still on edge. But then, he spoke softly, his words filled with understanding and love. "I love you, Y/n. I understand your fears as a young mother. We will get through this together."
His words brought a small semblance of reassurance to my anxious heart. I managed a weak smile in response, grateful for his unwavering support in this trying time. The thought of losing any one of our babies was unbearable, and we both knew it.
Finally, we arrived at Izana's luxury condo in Yokohama, a place of safety and refuge. As Izana offered to take the babies inside, I couldn't bear the thought of being separated from them, even if it was only for a moment. I firmly shook my head and gripped the babies even tighter.
"No, Izana. I can't let them out of my sight. Not after what happened," I whispered, my voice choked with emotion. He nodded understandingly, knowing how fiercely protective I was of our children.
Together, we made our way into the condo, carrying all four of our precious babies. Once inside, we settled into our hideaway, a place where we could find temporary solace from the chaos outside. The condo was a fortress, a safe haven where we could breathe a little easier.
I nursed both Izabella and Izaak, and as their little eyes grew heavy, they fell asleep in my lap. Izana came over and gently kissed my cheek, his eyes filled with love and admiration. "My kitten is very overprotective of her kittens," he whispered, his words filled with both amusement and adoration.
A weak smile adorned my lips as I looked up at my husband. I gently stroked our babies' soft hair, feeling an overwhelming surge of gratitude and love. "They're our everything, Izana. I can't imagine my life without them. We must do everything in our power to keep them safe."
He nodded, his expression serious. "I will do whatever it takes, Y/n. We'll keep them safe from the dangers of this world, no matter what."
In that moment, as we sat there, our babies peacefully sleeping, I knew that together, we would overcome any obstacle. We were a team, bound by love, strength, and an unyielding determination to protect our family. And as we held onto one another, I felt a glimmer of hope, knowing that no matter what awaited us, we would face it head-on, united, and fortified against the chaos of our world.
The room was quiet, save for the soft cries of my babies. I held them close to me, their tiny bodies nestled against my chest. The fear still lingered in the air, a heavy weight pressing down on my heart. Manila, Izana's ex-girlfriend, had attempted to harm and kidnap two of our precious nine-month-old babies. The thought of it sent shivers down my spine.
Izana, my husband and partner in the Yakuza, stood before me, his eyes filled with concern. "Kitten, they need their sleep. They'll be safe in their crib," he said, his voice gentle.
I shook my head defiantly, my grip on the babies tightening. "No, I won't let them out of my sight. She won't get near them again. They'll sleep with tonight us," I declared, my voice resolute.
