Normani's pov:
It's currently 12 am and y/n still isn't back from partying with some of her friends from school. I guess I should have known she would late given the fact it was a high school party. I guess I should try to stay up a little more to see what time she will get home. I turned on the TV and after an hour of channel surfing I gave up and fell asleep on the couch.
"Hey babe . Wake up" I heard someone whispering in my ear. I slowly opened my eyes to see Y/N standing there in her pajamas.
"Hey , what time is it ? When did you get home ?" I asked her , sitting up .
" it's 5am and about an hour ago. I'm sorry I wasn't here earlier I was just caught up and wasn't really paying attention to the time." She rambled.
" it's okay babe. I was just trying to stay up and wait for you but I kinda fell asleep." I laughed while I stood up and we walked upstairs.
" well now we can go to sleep together." She said and kissed me on the lips.
"Goodnight, beautiful."
