The Chianti must die. The Chianti must die. The thought repeated itself over and over through Rash's head, consuming him until he could think of nothing else. I've been sloppy lately, I can't do this anymore. Vita better have captured Miss Jade or I'm going to explode. Rash continued his angry pace towards his quarters.
Cyra?? He thought, attempting to reach out to the spirit. I need something to go right... are you here?
Yes, I'm here. Rash heard quietly in reply.
I believe I might be able to begin the ritual shortly; I've found your vessel. I'm simply waiting for my servant to capture her, but she should be here at any moment with your body.
Wonderful. Cyra said blandly.
Is... something wrong? Rash asked hesitatingly.
I'm merely worried.
Why so?
I can tell you exactly where I am right now and I cannot sense anyone around me.
Isn't that a good thing? Now I can get the ring so I can begin the ritual! Rash thought in confusion.
Rash, I feel as if this is a trap. Why would someone steal me from you and then leave me here, exposed in the open waiting for you to take me? You should simply exercise a bit of caution.
I'm done with caution; I'm just going to find you and get this ritual over with. I don't care about this anymore. Tell me where you are so I can grab the ring, bring you back to my quarters, and begin the ritual. I'M SICK OF WAITING! Rash finished with a furious thought.
As you wish. I won't mock you when this falls apart. Rash heard Cyra reply with a resigned feeling coming from her. It's not like I have any power to dissuade you from your decision anyways. I'll simply let you be because I have no other choice; you're all I have.
Glad we could reach a compromise. Rash thought irritably. Now tell me where you are please...
That morning
Jade stretched and yawned as she began to wake up, glancing out her window to notice the sun beginning to rise. Why did I wake up so suddenly though..? She thought curiously. Her question was answered as an insistent, familiar banging began resounding loudly from her door. She recognized the pattern instantly.
"Enter!" She called as she jumped out of the bed, quickly straightening up her mess of blankets. The door suddenly flew open and a man stormed inside with an exasperated expression on his face, looking wildly around until he focused on Jade, then he let out a sigh of relief.
"What's going on, V??" Jade asked with a bewildered expression on her face.
"Rash..." V answered swiftly, clutching his side as he stood catching his breath. "He's going to try... and free Cyra from the ring and put her into a bodily form again."
"WHAT?!?" Jade exclaimed. "That's... horrible news."
"Indeed. And it gets worse." V said grimly.
"Oh no-"
"Rash is going to use you as a vessel for Cyra's spirit."
"What does that mean?" Jade asked warily.
