Newt took my hand and dragged me towards the others as we both laughed. His hands were warm. He held my hand slightly making sure I don't get hurt. We finally got to the others. They had set up a camp. Newt let go of my hand and made me explore. I looked around amazed as I stroke over everything with my finger tips. Newt and some other guy was talking about what they should do. I started walking towards the forest unaware of my surroundings. The moment I stepped inside the forest, my head started spinning. My eye sight got weak and everything went blurry before I blacked out. I had this awful dream. I was in a lab. I was talking to someone. I don't remember who. Then suddenly I hear a name. "Kayla" it said "Kayla we need you it's an emergency" in my dream I responded to what they said "ok on my way" hm I guess my name is Kayla then. Right before I entered the room, I felt someone shaking me. I shut my eyes open as I see Newt standing over me looking worried. I hen he realized I was awake he stood up.
"Are you okay?!" He said with a worried expression on his face.
"Yeah I'm fine" I said confused.
"You were gone for an hour!" He said looking me deeply in the eyes
A whole hour?! I thought to myself. It only felt like four minutes! I stood up while reassuring him everything was okay. He put his arm around me, walking me to the bed I was going to sleep in. When he put his arm around me, I melted. He just felt so warm and safe. I smiled to myself multiple times. I didn't notice he noticed me smiling. We reached the place I was going to sleep.
"Wow it's so pretty here" I said and sat down on the bed. He sat down beside me. "Btw! I found out my name was Kayla!" I said excitingly "you have a very pretty name Kayla" newt said as he gave me a warm smile. I laughed as well did he. The sun was starting to set. I got really tired. Without realizing, I rested my head on his shoulder, falling asleep.
Newt POV:
Out of nowhere I feel a head on my shoulder. I looked down at her while smiling. No newt! You just met her! Don't fall in love with her so quickly! I sighed as I watched her sleep. I didn't even care about the sunset. All I cared about was how the sun hit er face so perfectly. One of my friends walked up to us
"Dude, we need you over here!" Minho said before he realized Kayla was sleeping on my shoulder "Ey dude! Already?"
"Shhhh! Fine I'll be there in ten minutes" I said pushing him away. He just laughed as I gave him a sarcastically smile. He finally walked away. I decided to put her to sleep. I put a blanket on top of here, removing her shoes, putting them on the side of her bed. I didn't want to be a creep, so I decided to just leave it there. I then walked up to Minho and Gally. We discussed what we should do since we lost another runner. All I could think about was her. Kayla.
