"Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see."
-Mark Twain.

The bright light of the sun poured through the big windows of the living room.I close my eyes tight, enjoying the few minutes of peace and silence.

Opening my eyes I see the almond brown eyes of Bailey looking back at me.He must be hungry again.

Like mother,like son

"Morning my dearest child"I say with a British accent. He licks my nose, wagging his tail at a rapid pace."Brush your teeth first dude"

Walking over to the bathroom,I rub my eyes attempting to shake the sleep out of them. After I finished my morning routine,I go to my closet to find something nice to wear for work.

I walk out of the room grabbing my tote bag and my romance book which I still have some pages left.

I always loved rom coms.I think it's the reason that the love you read about in books, is rarely in the real world.

I put my half hair in a clip and I put Bailey his colourful leash on.I open the door and lock it,hiding the key under the pot.In a quick pace,I started my way towards my favorite bakery,"Magda's Bakery",in order to get the fresh muffins she makes every Monday morning and another one without sugar for the child.

That was my daily life, nothing special about it.I grab something to eat from the bakery,I give Bailey to the babysitter aka my best friend,Cyrus, whose mother owns the bakery and then go for work at the local library.

Certainly that only happens during summer break as winter I have to attend collage classes.

The money on the library aren't the best but with my savings and the money my mom left,I can pay for my tuition fees and take care of the house.

The distance from my house to the bakery is not that long and I always took advantage of it with the premise of enjoying the fresh summer air next to the sea.

The town was full with noises even if it was early in the morning.People were opening their stores and others were going shopping so they can get the fresh vegetables before others did.

I see a couple of dogs just behind me and I quick my pace, not wanting a disaster to begin.

"Morning Miss Daisy" I greet the lady who owns the flower shop.I know her since I was a child because I always come to get flowers for my room. She was a gentle and soft lady. Her husband had recently passed away and she wasn't her usual self.

"Good morning to you too"she says with a soft smile.
"How's our boy doing"she asks him with a baby voice which makes Bailey go crazy. He loved attention and he sure was getting that.

"We were just heading to get our breakfast. How are you;"I ask her

"I'm fine sweetie, don't worry about me" she reassures me,giving me one of her famous smiles. I know she's hurting for her husband but I don't want to push her to talk to me.I will be there when she's ready to talk.
