Y/n's POV :

Today's day was quite boring I didn't had much work being it a week day and even P and Hae-kang are gone on a date......I swear I'll go crazy because of the loneliness so I decided to take a short trip to Jungkook's house and see what is he upto ; if he is free then perfect cuz he is the best person to hang out with....as far as I think and if not I'll just go home and watch some K-dramas or Dance or whatever . I just hope he's not busy and I won't disturb him .

It was a 20 min walk from the restaurant to his place.....and with the lovely whether it was a pretty good walk that I had in a while . I marched towards the lift and pressed his floor number . I ranged the bell anticipating a giggling Jungkook to open the door but that's not how it turned out and instead a girl.....a pretty girl welcomed me . " Uhh...is Jungkook home ?" I asked hesitantly " Surely he is.....you ? " she replied in her honey like voice " I am Y/n.....his...friend ."

" Oh....alright C'mon in.....he is in the bathroom " I entered and she gestured me to sit on the sofa . I mean who even is she ? and why is she acting like it's her house....wait wait why am I getting irritated ? I am here to see Jungkook and It's his house , he can bring whoever he want to his place or wherever he wished.....it's definitely not my concern .

Right at that moment he appears and without paying any attention he questioned " Sohee , who are you talking to ? " and then he saw me " Y/n !...hey , you didn't tell me you were coming over " he stated " I was just bored and thought I might see you if your free.....if you guys are busy I can flee out " I tried to say that sarcastically pointing towards them and then the exit . " Oh no no....even I am here to kill some time...no one's busy ; well not for now " the unknown female answered while eyeing towards Jungkook and holding his hand slightly .

Jungkook's POV :

I was in the bathroom when I heard Sohee talking to someone and I was delighted to see Y/n , I really like her being around and I miss her when she is not . I sat beside Sohee as Y/n took the single couch and I noticed that Sohee is acting weird....Well Sohee is my cousin who never listen to me and judging by her face I know she is planning a mischief . She caught hold of my hand and started blattering things to which Y/n gave an awkward laugh .

" So how do..... you two know each other ? " Y/n asked  softly "She's my cou-" I was about to answer but my notorious cousin didn't let me finish " Friend.....I'm his friend too " I mean yeah she is my friend but why not say the truth . " Oh ohkay....actually Jungkook never mentioned so I didn't know " said Y/n apologetically " What a coincidence...he did not mentioned about you either . " 

What in the world is she doing.......she gonna give Y/n the wrong idea about me and her . I promise I would have killed her if Y/n wasn't present here . " Oh I see " said Y/n with a disappointed face . " Actually....Jungkook and I met through work , both us live only for music and pursued the same field " said Sohee clinging onto me more and more , which is making Y/n uncomfortable . What is this girl even thinking ?

" Jungkook did you got the email I sent you yesterday....you should really check it , we gotta submit the draft by this week " . What email man I never got one...she is really high on something today . " Uhh...." I was again interrupted in between but this time it was Y/n " It seems like you two were really getting some work done....I should really get going I think " . No why is she going already...it's all because of this brat...she made her feel so awkward , I'll deal with her later .

" Why.....you just came and you're leaving ? Please stay for a little more while " I said " I'll come by another time Jungkook....you should not avoid your work because of me " Y/n said in a low tone " But I don't have- " ; " Ofcourse Y/n , we will see you around " Sohee intruded again hanging her hand on my shoulder and Y/n looked a bit upset and then she left immediately .

" Yaa you !!!! why would you do that ? didn't you see how distressed Y/n looked " I growled at her angrily and she burst out laughing " What's so funny Sohee-yah " . " Were you stupid from the beginning or you turned out like this lately huh " she retaliated " What do you mean dude ?" I questioned " Bro it's so obvious that she likes you....that too a lot " she said leaving me shocked and happy too " For real ??? " ; " 100% man , didn't you see the way she got all Jealous when I got close to you.....she gave me a death stare....I swear I was scared for a moment  " .

Y/n likes me.....I can't believe it.... I never thought she is gonna like me back . Definitely I like Y/n ; how could someone not like her , she is so kind , understanding , brave....even at such a young age she handles every difficulty on her own and that's what makes me wanna protect her even more . I want her to be happy and healthy from now onwards I want her to lean on me during hard times and not face them all alone .

At first I was only attracted to her but now I wanna be with her everyday , everytime and every moment . I didn't realize but I liked her this much , this feeling is something else , something I never felt before . I denied it cuz I've heard Y/n talking to P about her not wanting a relationship . But if she is ready , I'm ready too...I'll give her all of me .

Y/n's POV :

I was on my way home contemplating the way I behaved today . I seriously don't know why I acted so stupid . It's his choice to make friends and get acquainted by the people he want to.....even if he makes a Girlfriend . It's his fucking life....and I am just FWB with him , nothing more than that... right ?

Then why the hell I am not okay with seeing that girl being all clinging to him . Do I like him ? Do I want to be in a relationship with him ? Can I trust him ? Will he leave me the way my own parents did ? I can't think straight at the moment . I guess I should get rid of this emotion and should not bother him anymore.

Why is happiness so short lived in my life😔
