A Normal Day

Y/n's POV :

After the phone call with my boss , I started brushing my teeth still dozing off a little bit.....I've been going to work for 4 years straight now but I still find it difficult to wake up in the morning.....this talent makes me surprised of me sometimes .

I reached the restaurant around 8 and saw my boss arranging the chairs whilst listening to NEWJEANS.....this k-pop girl group have literally taken over people of all age groups ! my fav song is OMG (TMI) . I did not disturb him and started the prep as we open at 10.

I'm almost done with all my work and kick start the day ; but I feel something heavy hugging me from behind , without looking I stated , "Oh ! someone's completed their beauty sleep and is finally here....have you seen the time it's almost 10am P" she grumbly reply " You know it's so hard to get up early during the weekend" well I can't fight that rewinding this morning in my mind " C'mon now start frying the chicken we are about to open " ; "Yes ma'am" she said energetically....I smiled and continued cleaning the floor , just then I hear a sound of an object falling and saw my Best friend with her eyes widen and looking at the boss whose busy dancing to Ditto ; I laughed and focused on cleaning again. Both of them really makes my life entertaining !!

As expected we started to have a rush just half an hour of opening , people in Seoul really love chicken
, I must say.......I started to take the orders one by one and the son of our boss also did the same , since weekends can be hectic sometimes the owner's son helped us with some of the work and is also a good cook , he is younger than me and seeing him cook so well makes me kinda jealous as I would definitely burn the whole kitchen up .

It's almost evening and now we are about to open again as we took a short break.......once again customers start rushing in and in no time we were full "One fried and one sweet and sour chicken for table 7" ; I passed on the order to Hae-kang and he immediately started working on it ; P also helped him with the orders....I must say I am impressed with their speed , their teamwork is legit commendable and I think this is the reason we are so famous in our locality.

We finally closed the restaurant and caught our breath......we all are fucking tired but there is no body pain as it has became a habit now , we thought to have a simple dinner as none of us had much of an appetite and by which it means that it's time for RAMYEON !!! Everyone started to pick up their ramyeon , all the other three picked up a spicy one while I took a much mild one as I can't handle spicy food which is a shame as I know I am missing a lot of good stuff but I can't kill myself for that too .

As soon as we finished our meal our boss shouted all of a sudden " Guys , this is the moment let's go to karaoke " and all of us sighed at once cuz we know his obsession with NEWJEANS and that he will only sing their songs in there "Boss everybody is exhausted today , how about we go next week when all of us are more stable " I said and the other two strongly agreed with me , boss got a bit sad but considered his employees health too and called it a day .

After reaching home I took a shower and fell on my bed......."Ahh I love my bed " I muttered and then slowly started to sleep thinking about tomorrow.

It's gonna be busy day again ; Just another regular one for me !!
