It's a foggy Friday night. A blonde haired man walks the busy streets of Xavier City. He's just gone out with a "friend" and is about to return home.
As he walks, he passes a white van that is parked along the street. All of the cars there usually belong to the visitors of the Karaoke club across the street. But unbeknownst to the blonde, a brunette waits inside the van and is watching him as he makes a quick right into an alley between two apartment buildings. This particular alley also acts as a temporary parking lot for karaoke club visitors when there isn't enough room on the street. But for the blonde, it doubles as a place of concealment tonight.
When the blonde is out of sight, the brunette starts the engine of the van, pulls off from the side of the street and drives into the dark alley. His headlights shine on the man, who is unlocking his car. Then he jumps out and doubles over.
"Help." He says as he puts on his best grimacing voice.
Because it's foggy, the lights reflect off the fog and back to the man, making his visibility scarce.
"Hello?" He says.
"Help. I've... been stabbed."
This immediately catches the blonde's attention. He considers himself quite strong. He feels he can help and protect anyone need. Especially an injured person. So he doesn't even remotely consider the possibility of being deceived.
"Sir, I can't see you. But I can help you. Have you called an ambulance yet?"
The brunette continues to walk towards him.
"Help." He says.
"I will help you. Don't worry."
When the brunette finally makes it to him, the blonde can see him clearly. The fog and lights aren't so much an issue anymore. And because they aren't an issue for him, it means they aren't an issue for the brunette. So the brunette stands up straight.
"What the fuck?" The man says.
"You're not even bleeding."
"Yeah... I wasn't stabbed either."
As soon as he says that, he reveals a gun with a silencer attached to the end. But the blonde barely has any time to react to it before the butt of it is used to strike him in his face.
🌑 🌑 🌑
Thirty minutes later, the blonde wakes up to soft slaps on his face. When he sees the Brunette man's face, he scrambles to sit up. That's when he realizes he's completely naked from head to toe. And not only that, he's in the back of a van.
"What the hell?"
"Relax." Says the brunette and he points the gun directly at the man.
"Are you going to rape me?"
"No. I'm not. I want to talk."
"In the back of a van? Naked?"
"I'm not naked. You are."
And to be honest that scares the blonde more than if the brunette had been naked. Why is he the only one of the two that's naked?
"What do you want to talk about?"
"You. What's your name?"
"James." He says shakily.
"James, huh?"
"Yeah."
"Okay. Well I'm not going to ask you if you know why you're here. I know you don't. But I will tell you. You're here because I know what you are."
