Japan, Sengoku Era

As the morning sun cast its gentle glow over the land of ancient Japan, a soft breeze rustled through the lush green forest surrounding a humble little hut.

Inside, was young girl who began to stir from her peaceful slumber, her eyelids fluttering open to reveal big, doe-like eyes filled with wonder and innocence.

(My apologies if you don't have eyes)

before it wasn't.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Y/N screamed as loud as she possibly could, her voice ringing throughout the forest she was in.

"WHAT THE HELL!? WHERE THE HELL AM I!?"

Y/N screamed panicking, 'was I kidnapped from the hospital? the ambulance? THE MORGUE!?'

wait a minute... This isn't my voice...

'My voice doesn't sound so pure and innocent.. what?'

Y/N suddenly jumped up from where she was laying, yeah, where was she laying?

"I'm alive? where are my injuries? who changed my clothes!?"

Y/N being the "smart" baddie she is, observed her surroundings to find clues where she was.

she couldn't help but be shocked at her surroundings—the rustic wooden beams that framed the ceiling, the woven straw mats that lined the floor, and the delicate paper shoji screens that filtered the warm morning light.

'Just what is happening?'

Y/N turned around to take in more of her surrounding,

She could tell this... house? was very small from the interior.

once turned around, Y/N saw a little kitchen that was designed very simple. The small place exuded a warm aura somehow, with a mixture of traditional elements and humble utensils that were essential for daily life.

The kitchen was centered around the area in front of a fireplace, where a crackling fire jumped and flickered, providing both warmth and a source of cooking heat.

'wait, cooking?'

Above the fireplace hung a blackened iron kettle, patiently simmering with fragrant herbs and spices, ready to be transformed into a nourishing broth.

Along the walls, wooden shelves displayed an array of handmade pottery and delicate lacquerware. Earthenware pots and pans, carefully crafted and glazed, stood in organized rows, each vessel carrying the mark of a skilled artisan.

Y/N saw collection of hand-forged knives, their blades sharp and gleaming, rested nearby, ready to slice.

'a weapon!' Y/N slapped herself for being stupid, if she was kidnapped, was she just going to wait here being defenseless?

Y/N quickly rushed towards the kitchen and grabbed the largest knife she could possibly find, and after seeing it wasn't dull, she began looking around again.

Hanging from sturdy hooks above the counter were an assortment of rustic kitchen utensils. A woven bamboo colander, intricately designed, sat next to a wooden mortar and pestle, used to grind herbs and spices into flavorful pastes. Hand-carved spoons, crafted from the finest wood, were arranged neatly, their smooth handles inviting the touch of a skilled cook.

A traditional stone mortar (suribachi) stood proudly on the counter, its coarse surface perfect for grinding sesame seeds and other ingredients. Beside it, was a traditional wooden rolling pin, while a woven straw whisk rested near it.

"I was kidnapped by someone poor"

Y/N immediately came to the conclusion, based on everything that she has seen, what kind of person lives in a little cottage like hut? especially in the 21st century.

As Y/N continued slowly making her way around, her heart skipped a beat as she was given a fright.

In one corner of the kitchen, a row of earthworms in jars lined the shelves.

Y/N almost threw up as she saw them wiggling against each other,

'Were they going to use this to torture me?'

she immediately began sprinting out the door.

She knocked over a low wooden table that was at the center of the kitchen, surrounded by small floor cushions.

But she didn't care about stopping to be polite to her kidnapper's home, she wasn't an idiot!

A voice sounded as she was almost out the door.
