Chapter 4

—The next morning—

"Are we almost there?" He asked for the fifth time.
"Oliver you know we still have a little while to go." I said. "But you can always ask me for food if you're hungry because I brought some just for you."  he blushed.

"Leave me aloneee.." Oliver halfheartedly say.
"I should be saying the same thing after you have complained this whole ride." I retorts.

"Here give me your phone." I say. He hands me his phone then look out the window thinking he's in trouble for annoying her. "Sorry for annoying you. I'm just bored." He says.
"It's okay, you're not in trouble. " I said while handing him his phone back.

"Okay. Sorry again." He said and looked at his phone to see what I did, there was a movie playing. He laid his head down on my lap and watched it until we got to the gas station.

I reached over and grab his phone. "Heyyy why'd you do that? Meanie.." he said looking up at me. "Because I called your name and you couldn't hear me." I says smiling at him.

"We're here though. That's what I wanted to tell you." I say ruffling his hair and helping him sit up.

We walk in and I take him to the bathroom because I'd rather not have him have an accident in my car even though I have a lot them. "Are you okay or do you want to come with me?" i say softly. "I'll be fine" he says

"Are you sure?" i say.

"Yep!" he says smiling. "Okay then. I'll wait here." I say leaning again the wall.

He comes out after awhile. "Did you wash your hands?" I ask raising a brow. "Yes?" He says obviously lying.
"Oh really?" He nods. " And why don't I seem to believe you?"

"I dunno." he says smiling at me. He starts giggling and runs back into the bathroom. He back out with dripping hands and starts shaking them. I lean away from the water being flung.

"Okay let's get you back in that car." I hear him sigh loudly from behind me. "It's not that bad." I say looking at him.

"Ughh but it issss." He drags out. "If you go to sleep it won't be that bad." I tell him as I help him into the car again.

---------- time skip ---------

We're in the driveway of my house (mansion). I look over and Oliver is fast asleep, I move him a little to see if he would wake up. I get out and walk to his side of the car to carry him out. I unbuckle his seatbelt and grab him. I tell my butlers to grab our bags.

I take Olive to our room and lay him down on the bed and cover him with a blanket. The maids come in quietly and start unpacking the room and putting things where I tell them to.

Oliver wakes up and looks around realizing he's not in the car and I'm not directly next to him. His eyes dart around looking uncertainly until he sees me on the couch reading a book, I look up and smile at him, "Hi baby. Did you sleep well?" i ask him. He smiles back sleepily and nods. "Is this your house mommy?" He asks me.

"It's one of them. Do you like our room?" I say to him.
He looks around again but this time actually taking in what's around him.

It has a huge window and seat near the end of the bed. There's a small couch and a bathroom connected. Walk in closet that leads to the room beside ours.

"Damn I didn't know you were that rich.." he says loudly. I glance over at him and smile. "So you like it then?"

"Of course I do." He says rushing to get up and touch stuff around the room. I watch him amused by how interested he is by the new room.

I call him back over and ask if he wants to go somewhere or stay here and do something. "Uhh, I don't think I want to go anywhere else today if that's okay with you." He says unsure, looking at the bed.

"It'll always be okay, sweetheart. Do what's comfortable for you right now." I say easing his nerves. " I think I'm also done with going out. Do you want to come with me for a tour of the house?"

"Yes please!" He says hopping up again. I notice he has a lot of energy after that little nap, I'll do something about that later.

We go downstairs and I say hello to a few of the maids and staff. We visit the theater, library, arcade, and my personal nursery (for plants). I take him to the kitchen for some food since it's getting late.

"What do you want to eat?" I ask him.

"I don't know. Can you choose?" He says.

"Sure. You can stay here, go to the library, or somewhere else." I tell him.

He says he's going to the arcade then runs off.

He comes back in a little while with a book and he says he wants me to read it to him. "Sorry, hun. I'm cooking right now, I can't really read while I do this." I say. He looks at me sadly.

I walk over to him and pick him up, setting him on the counter. I put my head on his shoulder and he leans on mine. We stay like that for awhile.

I pull away to make our plates. I turn to the counter again and he's just gazing at me. I wave my hand in front of his face and lean towards him. He blinks and looks at me surprised. I kiss him softly and his face heats up.

I grap our plates and put them on the table. I walk back over and kiss him again while picking him up and putting him on a chair.

We have a peaceful dinner and by now he's tired.

He yawns and I look over at him. "Are you tired baby?" I ask and he shakes him head. "No? But you're struggling to stay awake right now." I say talking to him like a small child.

" 'm not tired." He says covering his mouth as he yawns again. "Okay, my love." I say letting him win. I grab his hand leading him to our room.

"You wanna cuddle for a little while?" I pretend to ask, helping his change into his pajamas. "Mhmm.." I agrees.

We climb into bed and lay there. I play with his hair to help him sleep better.

I start doing some of the work I've missed on my computer.

— a few hours later —

Oliver is still sleeping and I start feeling tired. I put my work and computer away and pull him towards me. I kiss his cheek and whisper goodnight then fall into a slumber.

A.N.  This took me so long for no reason. I'm so unmotivated it's sad. I have way too many ideas that I can't use right now because this is the beginning. This is upsetting but it's fine. I love  anyone who actually reads this.
