"Well, you look at him like he will disappear into nothing. You cranky old man, I just wanted to help you a little." He said and scoffed. "He is also cute. Look at him!!! He is beautiful and just your type!" I looked at Han and then at Minho with wide eyes trying to say to control his boyfriend when Felix answered Hannie's question...

"He didn't ask me to be his prom date, but he kindly offered to give me a ride to the party and spend time together if I wanted to," Felix said softly. I think of him as a lovely and kind person. In my eyes, he is perfect. I watched him speak with Hannie and found myself captivated by the way his lips moved. I didn't realize it at first, but everyone was looking at me except for Chan. Han then gave me a friendly slap on the arm and said something. "Can you please stop staring at him and give me your attention? I am talking to you."

"What!" I spat back at him.

"Is he your prom date or not?" Han asked. All eyes were on me, waiting for an answer. I felt my heart racing and my face turning red with embarrassment. I gave up. Han never stops until he gets what he wants. I glanced at the man sitting on my lap and managed to utter a few words.

"Hey Felix, would you like to go to prom with me?" I covered my face with my hands, feeling my ears burning up. I find him attractive, and he's my type, but I met him tonight. I felt like time was moving at a snail's pace as I waited for a response, but he eventually gave me the answer I had hoped for - a yes.

"Yes, I would be happy to." He spoke while wearing a smile.

I removed my hands from my face and gazed at him before asking. "Really? You want to go there with me?" He nodded in agreement. "Why not? Is not like you are going to kill me, right?" We all burst into laughter after he said that. "Hyunjin wouldn't even harm a fly. You don't have to worry about him hurting you." Chan said, and the others hummed in agreement. "It's true. I was forced to leave my house even though I hardly ever go out." He let out a small laugh and shifted his weight to my other thigh.

He leaned in and whispered into my ear. "Do you feel uncomfortable? I can switch places with you if it would help in case I am causing any discomfort." I shook my head and responded, "Thank you, but I am quite comfortable where I am now. Are you ok?" Ne nodded yes.

The rest of the trip went by fast. While the others sang along to songs, Felix gazed out of the window at the stars while I found myself captivated and staring at him. His black and white fluffy hair swayed in the wind. He had pale, milky skin that glowed under the moonlight. He spoke to me with sparkling eyes, pointing at the sky and smiling. "Do you see that star over there? That's Sirius, the largest star visible from Earth." I hummed.

To me, he is the most beautiful and brightest star that exists. He gently nudged me and said, "You're not even paying attention to me," with a slight pout. "I am so sorry. Can you show me where the star is again?" He grinned and nodded, pointing to a specific location. "It's right there! Do you see it now?" he exclaimed. "I am sorry! I can't see it."

"Come here. I will show you where to look." He said as he cupped my cheeks and pulled our faces together.

My face was squished against him, giving me a dumpling-like appearance.

I could feel his cold skin against mine as we leaned against the open window.

I am capable of hearing his breaths.

"Right there. Can you see it now?" He leaned in to look at me, our faces so close that I could feel his warm breath on my cheek. The sensation sent shivers down my spine. "I-I dd-do! It's beautiful." I stuttered out that lie. I could still not see it because my eyes and mind were focused on him. "I know. It is so bright! I enjoy counting stars."

"I wish I could go to the moon." He said, smiling at it.

"The moon is fortunate to have someone as lovely as you admiring it," I whispered. I know he heard me, but he played it out as he did not.

As Chan searched for a place to park, we could already hear the music playing inside the venue when we arrived. I was trying to keep still to avoid making Felix uncomfortable, but my leg was cramping. He seemed excited, like a little kid going to the park. "Is this your first time going to a party?" I asked.

"Yes! I hope it is as fun as they seem in movies." He exclaimed. "I will make sure you have the time of your life," I said, smiling back at him. "Okay, everyone, please stick close to your date and avoid accepting drinks from strangers," Chan interrupted us, taking on the role of a protective father.

We all stepped out of the car and groaned in unison. "What are you guys whining about? It is not as uncomfortable as it seemed to be." Chan said, and Minho responded with a scoff. "SURE! You are saying that because you were not the one that had to ride with Han squirming around in your lap the entire way here..." Everyone was laughing except for Felix, who was busy looking at his watch. "Is there anything wrong, Felix?" He looked confused and laughed it off. "No, nothing is wrong. I was looking at the time."

I was standing close to him and noticed tears welling up in his eyes. I moved closer and gently wiped away a tear with my thumb. I took hold of his hand and led him toward the building. His hand felt so small in comparison to mine. I did not want to make him uncomfortable with questions, so I just said. "Are you ready to have fun?" and smiled at him. He smiled back and nodded with a smirk on his face. "So ready!"

The atmosphere was bustling upon arriving at the party, and some appeared to have had a few drinks. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with people jumping and dancing. As I glanced at Felix, I noticed his eyes brimming with amazement. "Do you want to dance with me?" I asked. He just looked at me and smiled before replying. "Yes, please."

I took hold of his hand and led him toward the crowd. "Maniac" by Stray Kids was playing, but he wasn't familiar with the song, which I found to be weird since it was the only song that everyone was listening to, so I just showed him the dance routine to what he quickly grasped and started to dance to it in perfect sync with the song. We danced and laughed around most of the night until he said. He said with a heavy breath, "I need a drink." "Let's get you a drink, Lix."

We had to maneuver around many people and even accidentally bumped into a few before finally being able to exit the cramped space we were in. I turned around to ensure he was alright and saw him looking at me with a gentle grin. "Are you ok?" I asked, and he just nodded. He did not say a word, but his eyes told me everything. I attempted to converse with him by asking, "Are you having fun yet?"

"This is the best night ever!" He said as he let go of my hand and twirled around with his arms up in the air bringing a smile to my face. "They only have beer, soda, water, and sparkling water. What would you like?" I whispered in his ear.

"Water, please!" He shouted at me due to the loud music. I gave him a water bottle, and he walked towards the exit. I was happy he did because I wouldn't say I liked loud music, and I also needed some fresh air.

With the music trapped inside, he let out a deep sigh as he stood outside. "It's so loud in here, I think I might go deaf," I said with a chuckle. "What?" he shouted. "My ears are ringing," he said as he inserted his little finger into his ear and wiggled it around.

I found myself again lost in his gaze, and he noticed it. "You have been staring at me a lot tonight. Is there something you want to tell me?" He paused and then flicked my forehead when he realized I still wasn't talking. "Earth to Hyunjin!!"

"Sorry, did you say anything?" I asked.

"Yes, I said that--You have been staring at me a lot tonight. Is there something you want to tell me? And be honest! I don't have time to lose." I chuckled.

"I'm sorry, but would you like me to be completely honest?" I asked, feeling a bit embarrassed. I was sweating at the moment. I don't want to tell him everything now. I don't want to scare him away.

"DUH! Of course, I want you to be honest. I want to hear the truth."
