Meggy: (runs outside after seeing him) Red!!! (Hugs Mario)
Mario: Hehe. (Hugs and kisses her cheeks) How are ya, sweetie?
Meggy: Better now that you're here. I missed you.
Mario: I missed you too.
Immortal: Hehe. This must be your girlfriend, Meggy.
Meggy: Yep. Nice to meet you in person, defenders.
Speed Demon: Oooh. I smell tea.
Mario: Oh no 😑.
Meggy: SPEED DEMON!!! I'm your biggest fan!!!
Speed Demon: Aw. Thank you. You got a keeper, Mar. (Runs into the jet)
Mario: (blushes) Ugh... Oh! Um, Immortal. Can I have the sixteenth off? Meggy's birthday is then.
Immortal: Of course. After everything you did to give the defenders a fighting chance against Gear Head, you deserve the day off.
Little did they know, another one of Gear Heads hidden cameras was spying on them. And, once again, it got kicked across his office. He then clicked a monitor to talk to Bela and Widow.
Gear Head: WHAT. HAPPENED?!
Bela: Mario, sir. He succeeded in the tournament and defeated us without breaking a sweat.
Gear Head: HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!
Widow: Well, only 3 of us had superpowers.
Gear Head: Gr... Wait... he can handle 3 villains who have superpowers, but could he handle an entire group of super villains? (Hangs up) Isotope!
Isotope: Yes, Boss?
Gear Head: Assemble the invaders. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
