Synopsis: J'on Jones, the Martian Manhunter, comes to Earth to warn of an impending alien invasion. In the midst of all of this, a British sorceress gets involved to lend a helping hand.

3rd Person P.O.V.

In the desolate planet kenned as Mars, laid a space shuttle with two astronauts visually examining the orange-like surface.

"Would you look at that? A little slice of Heaven." The first astronaut comments aloud.

"If your idea of Heaven is a barren, lifeless rock." The second one retorts passively while he stuck a device similar to a jack-hammer into the ground.

"You have the soul of a poet." The first astronaut jokingly jabs.

"Carter, we didn't come for the view." The second astronaut scolds with a sigh. "Our mission here is purely scientific. Are you getting any readings?"

Carter examined his device, visualizing the data on it retreating and beeping. "No detectable levels of H2O."

Then he caught something out of the corner of his eye.

"Hold on."

The second astronaut looked back at him. "What?"

Carter shifts his way to a pile of rocks, wrestling with the low gravity to journey over there. He noticed a peculiar gray rock that stuck out like a sore thumb in all of that orange and equipped his pickaxe to mine the rock around it.

"Could be an ice crystal." Carter theorized as he mined some more around the gray rock.

The second astronaut removed his device from the surface and went by his ally's side.

"No, but it almost looks organic." Carter comments as he finally grasps the rock and frees it from the ground.

"Carter! Look out!" The second astronaut suddenly shouted.

Carter glanced down to where he had gotten the gray rock and noticed a large gaping hole on the ground, and it opened up which created several spiderweb cracks. Both of them attempted to run back to their shuttle, avoiding the growing hole behind them.

However, Carter was lagging behind the second astronaut and screamed as he fell down to the lower depths. The second astronaut looked back upon hearing his friend screaming.

"Carter!" He hurriedly ran to the edge of the huge hole after it stopped growing. "Carter, do you read me! Are you alright? Repeat! Carter, do you read me?"

Down the hole, Carter groans as he attempts to reply. "Uh, I'm okay, Ed. Ed? Come in, Ed."

He sighed when he realized that his radio was dead. He stood up and turned on his flashlight to make his way around the dark cavern. He gasped when discovering some writing on the wall, it looked alien.

He glanced around some more, finding a wall that looked like a door. He touches what looks like a rock door-knob or handle and tries pushing down on it to open the door and investigate this place further.

But to no avail. Looking back, he saw his pickaxe lying on the ground and retrieved it. He stuck the pointed edge of the tool between the lever and door, prying it off like using a crowbar.

Upon doing that, the door opened and Carter saw a blinding white light illuminating the dark place. He squints his eyes and notices something coming for him.

"AHH!"
