Switched Roles

POV Marinette:

My heart melted when I saw Adrien not only touching but holding our girls for the first time ever, he never dares before to touch them or even look at them. even when he run away from the kitchen when Emma and Emmy wanted him, I could understand that he wasn't prepared for that.

I clicked a picture and covered them. I rested my arms on the couch and watched my three sleeping beauties for a while

The dinner was ready but I didn't eat without my husband. I just had a seat in the opposite armchair watching them till I witnessed Emmy waking up and kissing Adrien's cheek

Emmy: papa

It was a lot of cuteness to witness, I just get up and hide away to see what's going to happen. Adrien wakes up and he found Emmy looking at him while Emma is still sleeping

Adrien: hi you. it's night now, all three of us should have some milk and sleep

I blushed to what he said, he counted himself with the babies. I couldn't hold my giggle and that's what wake up Emma too

Marinette: I'm s-sorry, I just ....

Adrien: ill pick Emma and you pick Emmy to their cribs, and I'll be here getting the table ready for us

Marinette: ohhh ok

He helped me to get both babies up to breastfeed them. this takes me 30 minutes to finish feeding my daughters and burp them then put my sleeping babies in their crib. I went downstairs to the kitchen as I found Adrien setting the table. we both had a seat, eating without saying anything till he broke the silence between us

Adrien: so, you said that if you were a man and I was a woman, right?

Marinette: look, it's just a song and ...

Adrien: if you are interested, we can switch roles for one day, just 24 hours from 12am to 12am of the next day

Marinette: explain

Adrien: I'll do everything you do and you do everything I do. you go to the company attend meetings, sign papers, talk to clients, check workers and more. Zoe my new assistant will help you. and as my wife, you are allowed to sign papers but don't forget the company's stamp and I'll do your job, what is it?

Marinette: I like that, I really like that. so, for me, without counting on Rose, is cooking, sweeping, folding clothes, taking care of babies like diapers, feeding them, giving them bath, dressing them, rocking them but I guarantee that they won't sleep easily with you, waking up for them and washing dishes

Adrien: deal. we start at 12am?

Marinette: fuck yes. But we deal exactly like man and woman, ok? everything

Adrien: yes, it is.

It was sleeping time, my babies are sleeping like angels but when I was about to go to my room, Adrien grabbed my hand and walked me to our first room. it looks so clean

Adrien: sleep with me

Marinette: but ...

Adrien: ok fine just for today

POV Adrien:

Marinette accepted to sleep with me today. Every one of us were on his own side sleeping.

At night, we both wake up due to one of the babies crying

Marinette: A-Adrien, go check her
