I started hanging out with Frankie more often. Flora and Bella live with her so I got more familiar with them. Flora has started to open up a lot more. Except for when a lot of people come over. She tends to get quiet again when there's too many people around. But since she lives with Frankie Stark there's people over all the time.

I'm on my way to Frankie's house and I'm blasting music. Once I got there I went ahead and just walked inside. Bella, Frankie and Flora were all sitting on the couch watching something. I put my keys on their key holder by the door and took off my shoes. I walked into the living room and they all noticed me.

"Oh hey Bil!" Frankie said exited and got up from the couch to hug me. I hugged her back and took a seat on the couch. They were watching mean girls. I joined them on the couch and watched too. After a while the movie was over and we were in the kitchen messing around trying to make muffins from scratch.

"They probably need flour and sugar right?" Bella's asked we all agreed and she got that out. "Okay then probably like eggs and milk and vanilla extract and stuff." Frankie added. She got all of that out and laid it across the counter. "Okay we have the stuff but how much of it do we need. You know like the measurements..." Flora added. We all looked at each other not knowing.

"Yeah maybe this wasn't a good idea..." I said. "Better not before we die of food poisoning." Bella said putting everything away. We all laughed and helped her. "I'm gonna invite Ryland and some other people over." Frankie said walking out of the kitchen. Bella got a glass of water and sat at a stool on the island and scrolled on her phone. I looked at Flora and she was staring down at her hands fidgeting with them.

I know she started to get stressed out. "Hey why don't we make something for everyone when they get here." I offered to Flora. She looked up at me and smiled. "Sure." She said. Flora has this soft voice that isn't weak it's more... polite and pretty. She almost sounds like a fairy.

We started to get stuff ready to make A guacamole platter, basically guacamole, salsa, and queso with some chips. We started cutting everything up, soft music playing in the back round. "I hate when she does this." Flora said randomly. "Who?" I asked. "Frankie. I mean don't get me wrong I love her a lot, she's my best friend. But she always invites people over without asking and... I don't know. Sorry I don't mean to rant to you." She said shooting herself down quickly and apologizing.

I stoped cutting up the tomato's and looked at her. "Hey it's okay. You can talk to me." I said. She stopped cutting the avocado and leaned against the stove. I moved and leaned against the Island so I could be across from her. "It's just. I'm not awkward or anything I don't have social anxiety I just... I get almost shy when there's a lot of people around. I don't know I feel like if I talk I'll be too much so I go quiet instead." She explained.

"So I've noticed." I teased. She laughed a little bit and looked down. "I don't know it's dumb." She said dismissing the conversation. "It's not dumb. It's not dumb at all. I feel like that sometimes too. Like... at the Grammy after party, when I won 5 Grammys. We were there and I was so exited but half way through I got quiet because I felt like I was talking too much about my self or I felt like I was being too loud. There's times where I know I'm being too loud but I ignore it and keep being annoying, then cry about it later." I explained and Flora laughed a little at the last statement.

"It's a normal thing to feel Flora. It just matters what you do with that feeling." I explained. A blush cascaded across her nose and cheeks. She looked away and continued to chop up the avocado. "Well let's finish this before people start to show up." She said softly.
