"Um nothing I'm actually getting really tired so I think I'm going to go to bed." Flora said shyly. She quickly started pushing her way through the crowed. Ama looked at me confused but I just shrugged. As I watch Flora look around as she shoves through bodies of people, I realize that she looks scared. Like shes running or hiding from someone. "Flora its only 8!" Ama yells. Growing concerned I follow Flora through the house. I see her at the stairs but then a guy pushes me out of the way. Kristain.

He grabs her wrist and tells her something. I cant tell what he said because the music is too loud and he's too far away. Then Flora makes eye contact with me. She looks scared but, there's a hint of embarrassment in her eyes. She quickly made her way up the stairs, running away.

"What did you say to her?" I asked Kristain as he passes by me. "None of your business pop star." He slurred. I quickly went up the stairs to try and find Flora. I heard sobs coming from behind a door. There's nobody upstairs so it could only be her. I knocked on the door, "Flora?" I called out. "Its Billie!" No response. I turned the door knob to find that it's unlocked.

I open the door and see Flora sitting on her bed cris-crossed while holding her chest. Her breathing was rapped. "Hey no, no no. Its okay just breathe." I said going to the side of her bed and putting my hand on her back. She didn't stop though. "Hey look at me." I said sitting across from her on the bed. She looked up, her eyes meeting mine.

Her eyes. Her beautiful caramel brown eyes. I took her hand and put it on my chest. "Follow my breathing okay?" She nodded her head shyly. Her breath slowed down and she looked into my eyes again. Tears began to brim them threatening to come out. "Hey it's okay, Shh. Don't cry baby please don't cry." I said wrapping her in my arms and bringing her into my chest. "What happened mamma?" I asked. She backed away from my chest and kept her head down playing with her fingers.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked. She just stayed quiet. "Baby I need you to use your words for me, okay?" I said tilting her head up to look at me while putting her hands in mine. She just wrapped her arms around me burring her face in the crook of my neck. I was taken back by it but I'm completely okay with it. "Please stay." I heard her croak out. "What mamma?" She sat up so she could look at me.

The thing about Flora that draws me into her is that she looks so innocent, so perfect. From her face to her body shes soft. The lamp in her room was hitting her face perfectly making her eyes shine. Her skin is so clear is like honey. "Stay." she said looking at me with pleading eyes. "Baby I can't I have a meeting in the morning and then I'm recording with Finneas." I explained to her.

Her brows furrowed and her eyes grew glossy. Fuck. "It's okay, you know what I can stay." she gave me a shy smile and rubbed her eyes. "I'm gonna go down stars and check on the party okay?" I said and she was quiet. She looked down and played with her fingers again. This time picking at her skin roughly. "Hey no no no, lets not to that." I said grabbing her hands. "Do you wanna come with me?" I asked. She seemed like she really had to think about it and sort out the pros and cons. "You can stay with me okay. You don't have to talk to anyone."

"Okay." she said quietly while playing with the rings on my fingers. I got up and she held my hand. We walked down the stairs and I realized it was a lot emptier now. All of the random people left and it was just Frankie, Bella, Ama, Kono, Riley and a few random people I havent met. Flora realized that everyone left and loosened her grip on my hand. She let go and started to walk away.

"where you going?" I asked. "I'm just gonna sit down while you talk to everyone." She said quietly. I nodded and she walked away into the living room. Everyone was gathered around the dining table. Frankie spotted me and smiled. "Bil! Hey where have you been?" She asked. "Um around... Frankie can I talk to you?" I asked and her smile faded but, not fully. "Um yeah..." She got up from her spot and walked over to me. "Whats up?" She asked.

"Flora had a little bit of an nervous breakdown... is that normal or..." I asked hesitantly. "Yeah she has a lot of anxiety um is she okay?" she asked worried. "Shes fine, yeah. But she wanted me to stay the night so I wanted to make sure that's okay." I said. "Omg yeah that's totally fine you don't have to ask. Just normally she asks me to sleep with her, she must really like you." she laughed. Bella walked over and joined the convo. "What happened?" She asked.

"Flora had another nervous break down." Frankie filled her in. "Oh that means nightmares." Bella said. "Huh?" I said confused. "When she gets these anxiety attacks she gets nightmares after wards. That's why she needs someone to sleep with her." Frankie explained. "Oh..." I said understanding the situation now. "Billie you can borrow some clothes from me if you want." Bella said.

"Yeah sure. Thanks!" I said. "I'll leave them in the bathroom for you okay?" she said and I nodded. I walked into the living room seeing Flora sitting by herself with her knees to her chest observing the living room. "Come on Flora." I said and she looked over at me and smiled. I held my hand out and she grabbed it. She wrapped herself around my arm and stayed close to me. We went upstairs and into her room. "Are you ready for bed?" I asked. Flora nodded and got into bed. "Okay I'm gonna be right back okay?" I said and she nodded again.

I went into the bathroom and changed into a tee shirt and shorts that Bella gave me. I walked into floras room and saw that she was already asleep. I got into bed next to her and she turned around and cuddled into me. I turned off the lamp and closed my eyes.

I don't know what happened today but I never want to see Flora like that again. I never want to see her cry or sad. I want to protect this girl with everything in me. I want to be her safety blanket. I never want someone to hurt her ever. I never want to hurt her... ever.

A/n: A longggg chapter for yall. I love love love this book already!!!!!!! Kinda hate the end of this chapter but I also kinda love it. Idk tell me what you thinkkk.
