Two days after the Ranjana was left behind:

"It's almost three days since she's unconscious." A heavy voice of a man reached my years. "Chances are, she might be in coma. The impact on her head was really hard. We should be thankful she was wearing her weapons, otherwise her spine would have shattered. And let's also not forget the about of blood she lost. Most people don't survive such conditions." The man finished. Who's spine nearly got shattered? "Doctor I just need to know if she's in a stable condition or not." Another man almost pleaded with his heavy British accent. Wait a minute! That's Matteo Michele Lorenzo. What is he doing here? "Well she's stable. She's out of any kind of danger. And she's healing faster than we expected." The other man answer. "Thank you so much doctor, that would be all." A woman with a hint of French accent answered. What the hell is going on? With that I opened my eyes.

When I opened my eyes I saw a beige ceiling. I looked around to see a quiet dimmed room and I was attached to a monitor, two bags of liquids were pierced through my skin, covered with bandages on my thigh, calf and shoulder. Brings back memories. Thankfully I wasn't naked, instead a loosely fitted scrub was covering me. But this wasn't a hospital. How did I end up here?
I looked around and saw the button to the bell and pressed it. Soon a middle aged doctor, followed by Matteo and the woman rushed inside. The doctor checked my vitals and asked, "Do you remembered what happened?", to which I just nodded my head sideways. "That's okay." He gave me a reassuring smile. I looked at Lorenzo, he signed and took a sit beside me. The doctor read the room and quickly left the room.

"Ms. Banerjee can you seriously can't remember anything?" He asked me for reassurance. "What happened? And where am I? Why are you in India?" I asked again. Matteo sighed and said, "You were left behind by your team, Ms Banerjee. That's what happened. You were on a field mission. Your boss left you to die." The woman replied.

I stayed quiet trying to remember it, but couldn't. The more I put pressure on my brain the more my head ached. "Fuck!" I screamed holding my head in my hand. "Bianca, call back the doctor immediately." He ordered. This is the third founder of Nobody. The woman rushed outside and a few minutes later she came it with the doctor. "I told you to give her rest. It's quite common to forget things after such accidents." The doctor pushed me back on the bed and said, "I'll sedate you for a while okay? It's for the best." He said. I didn't reply because of the increasing throbbing inside my head. That's when I felt a needle piercing through my skin. And soon I succumbed into darkness.

                                      *****
"Ranjana, Zakir is here to meet you." , Lorenzo said and got up from his chair. And I nodded slightly.

After I woke up from my unconsciousness for the second time, I asked the nurse to bring me Lorenzo. When he arrived the first thing I said him was to call Zakir. That was two days ago.
And it was enough for Lorenzo to understand the fact that I remembered everything. Chatrapati, you are so dead.

"Ms. Banerjee." Zakir's smooth voice brought me back to the reality. I looked towards the door to see Zakir, in his usual formal attire in the same calm composure. But his eyes said an entirely different story, as if they will burst out in tears any moment now.

"Mr. Ali." I replied, in a quivering voice. I gulped nothing and continue, "Thank you for saving my life. And now I'd like to return this favour by killing Raghu, and everyone in he cares about. " I completed.

Zakir closed the door behind and walked beside the bed. "I almost thought I would have to do it alone." He whispered, it was clear as the day that wasn't something he wanted to talk about now. But I had no idea about what else to say. For some reason I can't think of anything else to say. "You don't have to say anything you don't want to." Zakir reassured. And I looked down, unable to look at hia eyes. He noticed my discomfort, and took a seat on the bed, and pulled me in his arms.
"I won't force you to do it. Infact I'd hate to see you in the same danger again. You can leave now, if you want. You can be free. I'll take you far away from this place, where nobody will know you. You can have a simple life their. I'll be there for you." He said.

But will I ever be free if I leave now?

"Mr. Ali, I've made my mind to kill them on the very beginning, but I was afraid of what would come after. Now I know, it's either death or a free happy life. I choose to live. That is why they must be killed. Thank you for offering me such an easy way to escape. But I cannot run for ever. It's time we end it for real." I said, still having my hands wrapped around his waist.

"Just the answer I thought you'd come up with." Zakir let out a chuckle. "Don't worry, we'll do it." He cheered. I looked at him and pulled him for a kiss, which didn't took him to respond.

"Just don't die again, Ranjana. You are too precious to die in their hands." He said while kissing me more.

No, I won't.
