"Mrinal, are you in position?" I asked through the earpiece. I'm currently at Indira Dock, where Anthony is supposed to make the deal. After a lot of discussions it was finalized that me and a guy named Mrinal would be there for back up. Mrinal is a sharp shooter, probably one of the best in the country, he has an extreme hatred for Raghu. That's why when we approached him with our offer, he agreed at once. Not to mention the one million rupees that he will be given. The person on the spot will be no one. Zakir has already planted the bombs under the cars and inside the boxes of the weapons. But we still need back up just in case someone makes out alive.

"Yes, ma'am." Mrinal replied. For some weird reason he's been calling me ma'am since the moment we met. "Let's just wait for them to arrive at the rendezvous point." He said

"Alright." I said as I relaxed from my position. I looked up at the sky and it was dark and starry. I closed my eyes and focused on my breathing.

"Rani?" A familiar voice called me out, a voice I miss a lot. My mother's. I turned around to see my mother cooking for me, "It's been so long since I saw you, beta. You look so malnourished, why aren't you taking care of yourself?" My mother enquired.

I couldn't say anything, as if my lips were sewed together. "Rani?", Vivan called out. We were in an empty classroom, in our school uniforms. "You are so insecure right now, is there no one to make you feel loved?" He asked, looking sympathetic. Yet I couldn't answer

"Ranjo?" I turned around to see Bonnie, we were at the science exhibition. "You don't have anyone to trust do you? You've been betrayed so many times." She said, as her eyes welled up with tears.

"I'm sorry beta, I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you." I turned around to see my father on his knees crying. The strongest man I knew was crying. I wanted to run to him and hug him, tell him it's not his fault. But I was frozen.

Suddenly everyone looked behind me at fear, as if someone was standing. I looked behind me to see Raghu, Gopal, Anthony, Raunak and Kaushal looking down at me. I looked back at my parents and found them lying dead. I looked back at them to see everyone is dead except Raghu. I looked back again to see Zakir, Bianca and Lorenzo holding guns at them. They are my team. I looked back at Raghu to see him shot between his eyes and this time I had a gun in my hand.

"Ms. Banerjee, wake up. It's time." Zakir's voice called me. I looked at him in confusion, and he said, "Wake up."

I woke up and gave a quick glass to my surroundings, then I spoke, "Mrinal, are you there?"

"Yes ma'am, the car is approaching." He replied. I took my position and wait for the car to get in the target.

I put my eyes in the scope to sea Anthony walking out of the car, and few men from Badal walked out of their car. Zakir's voice rang through the earpiece, "I guess both of you are in position?" To which we both agreed. Then he continued, "Alright, remember after the blast you have to get and check for survivors, if you get one, kill them." He completed.

"Copy." We said in unison.

Both of the parties approached each other and exchanged the boxes of weapons and money. As the men from Badal walked towards their car, a massive explosion occurs. There goes the first bomb. Before Anthony and his men could turn around, their car blew up into even larger flames engulfing Anthony in it. Why did my heart ached at that sight?

After the two blasts we both quickly checked the surroundings and went to the sight. Everyone was dead, except for Anthony. Well he'll be dead in no time, but he was still alive. He was burnt and bloody. I stood in front of him and took off my mask. His eyes went wide in, "Ra...Ranii..." I knelt down beside him and took out my dagger.

"I never wanted to kill you. But I changed my mind when I saw you were glad that I was dead." I said, and that was enough to make him realise that Zakir and I were working together. I placed my dagger on his throat and finally said with a smirk, "See you in, my friend." With that I sliced his throat.

I watched him bleed to death as he struggled to move. But he would be dead no matter what.

********"*

It's been 10 hours since Anthony's death. The mafia went crazy as Zakir told us. After getting them to settle a bit, Zakir rushed to my place. According to him, they cannot think of anyone who could do this. Raghu and Gopal was berserking around.

Currently I am lying with Zakir on the couch, after a hot passionate yet loveless session. He is playing with my hair and murmuring how beautiful I look. But none of that effectd me.

"Ms. Banerjee, don't grive his death. He had it coming. You are their doom, remember." Zakir said as his hands roamed over my body.

"Just shut up." With that I kissed him. "I'm not really in the mood for talking right now."

"Then what are you in mood for?" Zakir asked, with that similar smoothness.

I looked at his eyes and answered with a smirk, "Not talking." He got what I wanted and immediately pushed me below him and attacked my neck. I closed my eyes to feel that sensation of his touch just to ignore the grief that was forming indide me for Anthony.

One down four to go.
