"It's good to see you two. It's not often that you visit me." Dev smiled at Amaira and then turned to glare at Yuvaan who hadn't taken his eyes off of the sketches that littered the table. Both the men had flown to Delhi to meet their aunt on the special request of their own nephew.
God knows how they landed here because none of them fit the role of a matchmaker. When Yuvaan didn't seem to budge his attention away from the new designs Amaira had made, Dev cleared his throat. "Bua, I heard that- ahem- Shaira agreed to get married again." Amaira smiled lightly and nodded.
"I knew Veera would be able to convince her. She can convince anyone. I am just glad Shaira is giving herself the chance. I have been looking for suitors that are good enough for her as well as Darsh, but I am falling short. It's difficult to find a man who wants to be a husband as well as a father. Ofcourse they cannot be like Adarsh. He was one of a kind."
Yuvaan finally looked away from the papers and up into spaces. Adarsh wasn't just his brother in law. He was his friend. And even though Yuvaan and Adarsh's friendship consisted of constant bickering, it was still special.
Dev was a different case. Adarsh and Dev were much closer. They were best friends. More like brothers. And losing a best friend was the brunt his heart had taken, that hurts the most.
Yuvaan sighed heavily. He had hoped Dev would do the talking but he was clearly useless in this matter. "Mami, you remember Riya Kapoor?"
Amaira's solemn eyes shifted to Yuvaan and the mood lightened. "Ofcourse. We worked together alot of times over the years. She became a friend."
"Great. Well she has a son. Kunal Kashyap. I know him through the business circle, I think he would be a good match for Shaira. He is successful, smart, funny. And he is your friend's son. You know about the family as well. The Kapoors are great, you should think about it."
Dev sighed. They did their job. The rest isn't in their hands. "Well, we have to return back to Mumbai. We will see you soon Bua."
"Wait! What time is your flight?"
Yuvaan shrugged. "Whenever we want, it's a jet."
Show-off.
"Would you two mind waiting a bit? I would like to come with you. Shivansh and Amisha had gone to some psychiatric convention sort of a thing in the US. They won't be back for the next two days."
The men heard what she didn't say. She wanted to meet Riya Kapoor and see if what she was thinking would even be possible or not. Well, for the sake of their wellbeing, Yuvaan hoped this marriage thing worked out. Because Darsh was getting good at manipulating by the day.
