Sarah's POV
It turns out Camila is a singer from a girl band called Fifth Harmony and Austin's "girlfriend". I scoffed at that thought as I slapped the magazine close interrupting Chris.
"Sars, you've been scoffing and picking up that damn magazine for the past 20 minutes. We came to the mall to clear your head either you put some big girl pants or you'll end up being a nun all your life." Chris threatens.
"Fine I'll stop. So what were you saying?"
"As I was saying the media is going crazy because you still have to confirm you and Autin broke up." My friends nodded along with him while I sat there with tears wanting to spill out of my eyes. I breathed in telling myself Austin is not worth it and that he's better off without me.
I want to move on fast like Austin did, I want to but my heart isn't ready it's still calling for Austin, still longing for his arms wrapped around me and still longing for the times we shared.
A hand suddenly brushed against my face, not even realizing I was crying. I saw that it was Sam who was wiping away my tears. "Look me in the eye, and listen closely. Austin lost the most beautiful and most precious gem in the world, you're much more valuable than he will ever be and he treated you like shit. Don't let him get to you, you're stronger than this."
I nodded giving him a silent thank you, his words gave me a teeny weeny bit of hope. Hope that someday all of this will blow over and that I will meet someone that would cherish me to no end. With that in mind it got a bit easier hanging out with my friends, although they were cautious about relationship topics, we all had a great time.
By our 4th hour staying in the mall just sitting in the food court, eventually the media got bored with us and went away. Minus the 2 or 3 paparazzi that stayed. Noticing this the girls and I decided to go shopping for some girly things, while the men do their own thing. Chris didn't want to come along with us something about being surrounded by girls and girly things gives him a stomach ache, so he went with Sam instead.
Sam whom called an old friend of his to hangout, trusting Sam enough to take care of Chris we went our separate ways. The girls and I talked about mostly anything and everything, except Austin of course, and it feels great to be able to forget about him for a while.
"My parents are throwing this gala over the weekend and said I can invite my friends so I don't get bored. So would you guys come?" Carolyne asked.
Just to make it clear Carolyne, Nelly, Belle, Chris and I all grew up with the same life style and over flow of money in our bank accounts.
Carolyne was what you call a spoiled bitch, buys materialistic things that's the way she is. Always covered in designer anything and expensive luxury vehicles but it's more than meets the eye with her though.
Belle is the sophisticated yet wild one in the group, she parties hard but always as that aura of sophistication around her. In a much simple way she's simple, classy, wild and most likely the mother of our group.
Chris was the adventurous one, he's usually the reason how we always got in trouble for sneaking in late at night, the reason for our fake names. But he's the entire sunshine of the group he's always happy and cheery even if he's the one who needs cheering up.
Before I get carried away with my thoughts someone suddenly grabbed me by my arms as if using me as a shield. At first I didn't know what to do because a complete stranger is using me to block them from I don't know who!
A group of paparazzi ran past the store yelling out directions to where the celebrity or person might've ran off to. Sighing, obviously relieved, the person muttered a thank you and hastily walked away.
"Hey!"
The fake blonde turned around and gave me a confused stare. "Be much more careful about your disguise next time, Niall" I winked and turned around wondering where my friends went off to.
I didn't even take 10 steps until someone, or should I say Niall, grabbed my arm and turned me around.
"How'd you know it was me?" He looked so innocent that I almost aw'ed. But I just snickered.
" Well your diguise is just a damn mustache and wearing designer clothing. Of course someone will notice you!"
Niall blushed scarlet red his blush making him look cute. "Heh. You don't happen to have a phone on you lass?" With him blushing and his deep Irish accent I gave him my phone silently.
"Just be quick I'll have to get back to my friends soon."
With a nod he walked a couple of steps away from me and started dialing a number. I stood there wondering where my friends wondered off to when I caught Carolyne with the rest of my friends.
Right on cue Niall returned with my phone and a bright smile lighting up his fave. For a moment I got mesmerized but quickly snapped out of it when I realized my friends were once again not in sight.
"Thanks for eh.. letting me borrow yeh phone miss."
"No problem. Uh I have to go now, my friends are probably wondering where I went and-" Stopping mid sentence I looked over his shoulder and saw a group of Paparazzi coming our way yelling both of our names. "Paps are coming this way hide."
I ran away as fast as I can and left Niall there, feeling bad I turned around only to find him no longer there. Sighing I continued on searching for my friends, after about 45 minutes of roaming around the mall and hiding from the paparazzi, I finally found them in Louis Vuitton looking for bags or what not.
Of course they questioned where I went off to and I simply told them I got a bit lost and was hiding from the you know who.
Another 45 minutes passed and we came out of the store spending at least 10 grand or more. Of course my Hawaii friends were too modest to accept such expensive gifts but eventually gave in.
"We promise we'll do anything you want and we'll pay you back-" Cherish promised. I waved her off with a flick of my wrist telling her it's non-sense.
"Welcome to the life of Sarah Mullins ladies." Belle chuckled, while I on the other hand scoffed at her.
"B shut up."
"Seriously this is too much, I mean 14 hundred for a pair of heels is too expensive! Let alone buy a bag and sunglasses to go along with it!" Dolie complained.
"Ladies, we're not done yet. My parents are throwing a gala, a gala with important and elite people. You can't just roll up in some cheap clothing you bought from Forever 21...if you do you'd never hear the end of it." Carolyne cringed.
"Besides, you're practically part of our friendship circle and what not. Make your selves feel at home." Nelly added in.
"Sarah? You haven't said anything for the past 5 minutes you okay?" Carolyne pointed.
"Oh yeah I'm fine, I just. Yeah I'm fine." To be honest I didn't know I was zoning out until they called me out on it, I just laughed it off and told them we had to find dresses for the gala.
Reluctantly Cherish and Dolie agreed to just let us shower them in expensive clothing.
To sum it all up we shopped till we literally dropped, the best thing about it all I never thought about Austin not even once. I'm lying, I did a couple of times but my group of friends helped me become distracted from my thoughts.

Just recently I finally told myself, well a reader told me to update already, so I did. I wrote whatever idea was in my head and wrote.Hopefully I won't have to update for a long time and disappear again...I don't think that'll happen no promises though.
