Starmon Adventures Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2: THE FIRST STARMON FRIEND - NUTID

          At Present Day, in a small place called Sunshire Town, a Felynx (anthropomorphic cat species) mother and her child were about to head home from the marketplace, but they were suddenly surrounded by Rat Rodenite (anthropomorphic rodent species) thieves. They were about to snatch their groceries, until someone sitting on the tree asked them to stop stealing from the mother and her child. It's a Starmon with an acorn-like hat; his name is Nutid the Sagittarius Starmon. He doesn't seem to like someone trying to steal from the innocent, especially someone who has a child. So Nutid jumps down and warns them to leave, but the thieves refuse and are still attempting to steal their groceries. As one of the thieves is about to steal their groceries, Nutid quickly grabs the thief and punches him back to his previous position. After that attack, the several thieves try to attack Nutid but he beats them up so easily. A Rodenite thief suddenly snatched her son, sticks a knife on him, and used him as a hostage and tells Nutid to let the mother hand over their groceries so her son will be spared. However, he doesn't seem to accept but instead, he stretched his arm and punched him while her son ran to her mother safely unharmed. Some thieves were in disbelief that his arm got stretched and the mother was shocked at how strong he was. Her son asks Nutid how he stretched his arm like that, so he explains to him that he has an ability called "Rubbery Body". Now the Rodenite thieves have underestimated Nutid, they ran away and hopefully never be seen again. After they fled, the Felynx mother thanks Nutid for saving them and her son thanks him as well and calls Nutid awesome. Once they waved goodbye and left peacefully, Nutid was heading back to Sunshire Town, as it was his beloved hometown where he lived. In Sunshire Town, everybody is living happily and having a fun time as everyone is chatting and enjoying the wonderful morning. In the kingdom near Sunshire Town, a Felynx king named King Peter II is preparing for his trip to explore around Seizar, so he lets his son Arthur and his daughter-in-law Elzie take care of the kingdom while he's gone. As the king, Elzie suddenly disappeared and Arthur was worried and had some concern that something bad might happen to her. Elzie is on her way to Sunshire Town but she has to wear a cloak to hide her identity in public, so she doesn't want to be caught in trouble. Meanwhile at the Sunshire Bar, the customers are enjoying the root beers and juices, while Nutid is eating a lot of food till he's satisfied. The one in-charge of Sunshire Bar is a Fox-rabbit Pelynx (anthropomorphic hybrid species) named Robyn is enjoying that everyone is happy and told Nutid that he had quite enough but he told Robyn that he's already satisfied enough and paid her the payment, then left and said goodbye to Robyn and thanking her for the food. At the same time, Elzie almost arrived at Sunshire Town until she was surrounded by the same rat Rodenite thieves and took her cloak off and they were shockingly surprised that it was Princess Elzie from the kingdom near Sunshire Town. The leader of that group had an idea to kidnap her for ransom to her kingdom, and they seem to like that idea. So they quickly tied her up and went to a huge cave to hide her, while one of them and the leader is sending the ransom message to Arthur.

          Unnoticed by them, someone just saw everything and headed back to Sunshire Town. His name is Torto, the Taurus Starmon. Back at Sunshire Town, Nutid is about to head home until he bumped into Torto so suddenly. Nutid was surprised to see friend for a while, even though Torto doesn't seem to appreciate being friends with him. Torto was in a hurry and Nutid wanted to come along with him, even though Nutid didn't know the kidnapping situation. Torto quickly explains to Nutid that a princess who came from the near kingdom was being kidnapped by a group of Rat Rodenites and they kept her away in a huge cave; so both Nutid and Torto came together to rescue the princess. Meanwhile at the kingdom, Arthur has received the ransom message for Princess Elzie in exchange for the vault's worth of gold, which is written from the leader of the Rat Rodenite thieves. Prince Arthur doesn't seem to have a choice but he will take a risk to save his beloved wife, so he armored himself up and rescued Princess Elzie on his very lonesome. At the huge cave, Princess Elzie was curious yet nervous about what they do to her now. Some of the Rat Rodenite thieves were keeping an eye on her, while some had somehow found a lot of treasure inside the cave. They were surprised that there was treasure inside the cave, which means they don't need to ransom Princess Elzie anymore. Suddenly, everything is starting to shake as there is something inside the cave; it turns out to be a huge dragon. The Rat Rodenites ran away and abandoned Princess Elzie behind. As the leader and his assistant came back, they were surprised that Princess Elzie is the only one inside the cave while their members were members. Until his assistant noticed why they left, because the cave they stayed in turns out to be a dragon's cave. The dragon is big and scary; they even ran away too, while Princess Elzie is scared and still tied up. As the dragon tries to eat her, Arthur has arrived to rescue Elzie. He tries to slay the dragon but the dragon melted his sword and shield like it was nothing. Now that Arthur is defenseless, the dragon smacked Arthur to the rocky wall and knocked him out. As Arthur was out of cold, the dragon grabbed Elzie and was about to eat her, both Nutid and Torto arrived to save her. Nutid was overjoyed and amazed that he had never seen a real dragon before, but Torto was interested but not that overjoyed compared to Nutid. Elzie was surprised that the Starmons came to rescue even though had her concern that Torto seems to be tough, but Nutid looks like an idiot. Torto fights the dragon with his fiery strong hands and a hard shell head, however, the dragon is too big and tough as its scales are strong and fire-proof; so Torto's effort is futile. The only one who could fight the dragon is Nutid, Princess Elzie had some doubt and Torto thinks that he's a bit of an idiot to face the dragon on his own. Nutid is ready to fight the dragon but he has no idea how to beat it, so he just wings it and looks for the best. Nutid stretched his arms and grabbed on the dragon's horns and tried to wrestle the dragon but it was too big to wrestle a dragon. The dragon got irritated from Nutid's stupidity and annoyance, it shot out fire at him to get him off its back, but Nutid avoided the fire breath. As the dragon tried to eat Nutid, he stretched his arms and grabbed the dragon's tail to bite on it. The dragon got hurt after it bit its tail, it let go Princess Elzie and fell from the dragon's grasp. Fortunately, her dress poofs up and falls down safely as her dress becomes a parachute. Now Princess Elzie is safe and got away from the dragon's grasp, Nutid has the opportunity to go all-out against the dragon now. So he jumped up and used "Gatling Punch" and hit the dragon hard and finished it with the "Pistol Punch" for the final blow. The dragon fell down to the ground and got knocked out by Nutid's attacks.

          After that, the cave is starting to shake and the rocks are starting to fall down upon them. Nutid grabs Princess Elzie and Torto grabs Prince Arthur, and gets out of the cave safely as the dragon is now caved inside the cave by the rubble. Moments later, Prince Arthur woke up after being knocked out by the dragon, and was surprised that Princess Elzie was somehow saved and unharmed from the Rat Rodenites and the dragon. Princess Elzie told him that the Starmons are the ones who saved her, and Nutid introduced himself to Prince Arthur; but Torto doesn't need introduction as he doesn't care about it. Princess Elzie wanted to thank them for saving them, but Prince Arthur doesn't seem to like to thank them. Momentarily, the Rat Rodenite thieves returned back to get the ransom reward from Prince Arthur and Princess Elzie. Until when they saw Nutid's face again, they got terrified as they got a PTSD (Post-traumatic Syndrome) about what happened that morning; so they immediately changed their mind and ran away, and surely never be seen again this time. Nutid had no idea why they ran away; even they had no idea either. Anyways, Elzie thanked them for saving their lives but Arthur doesn't want to, and heads back to their kingdom. While Nutid and Torto are heading home to Sunshire Town, Torto hardly says "thank you" to Nutid for saving their lives and beating the dragon for him. Nutid was glad and requested him to be his friend now. But Torto doesn't seem to want to be his friend yet. He will be his friend but not right now, not yet. So they both shook hands and went their separate ways as they arrived home. At Selene, in the Star Gardens: Home of the Star Princesses, Sagitta the Sagittarius Star Princess is watching them the whole time and she was quite surprised about Nutid, one of her creations. Nutid may have looked simple, foodie, and a bit of an idiot, but surprisingly strong. Sagitta never knew how strong Nutid was, as he defeated the dragon quite easily; she had no idea but was glad about him. However, Taura the Taurus Star Princess was impressed about Torto's fiery strength but not proud enough though. Sagitta is starting to think about their fallen sister Orophina but Taura stopped her thinking about their Orophina, as she was now called traitor to the Star Princesses. At Kagura, Orophina's best Ophiuchus Starmons are almost ready to go to Seizar, as they are still in their intense training to get even stronger than ever before. Soon, she will make her strike to get her revenge on her sisters and rule Seizar. Also has another plan to work on but it will never be revealed just yet.
