Chapter 5: Who am I?

We ran all day because he said it helps with the thirst.

" Thirst? What does that mean, I'm a badass vampire chick, I'd know sort don't you think?" Then I smelled something so sweet, out was mouthwatering. I ran toward the magnificent smell and the smell was from my sister. Why is she here?

"Ooh, bait." Said Dillon behind his fangs.

" Leave her alone." I whispered angrily.

"A mere human? Haha, you're even more weak than I thought newborn, you're supposed to be on my side am I right?" He said as he inched towards her. I grabbed his arm stopping him from going further. Then I thought, how am I like this was I born like this or changed but,I don't remember being bitten although when me and Dillon did it he kind of kissed my neck and then bit my neck and I fell asleep.

" You bastard, you changed me!"

" No,I reopened your ability to be like us and now you're my mate." He ran toward her and nearly sucked her dry if I wouldn't have got there in time.

" She's dying! Help, someone help me! Please! Kate, stay with me Kate!"

" It's time to let her die or change her, your choice."

" She's thirteen you idiot, please someone help her!"

" It's okay Em, I'll be fine just go find help." She managed to groan out. I looked at her as I could are she wasn't going make it so I bit her releasing my venom into her blood. She was choking on her own blood and she opened her blood red new eyes and told me that she was changed and that I could stop. I stepped back and looked at my new creation. She was so new and independent and I started to cry because I just created a monster. She looked over and sniffed the air and whispered " food." Then, she ran off and I could hear screaming.

" No! Please! Ugh." I ran towards the noise and saw three dead bodies and Kate covered in blood.

"Are you crazy? What if someone saw you, huh, what would you do? I asked very angrily.

" Eat them, that would've been so awesome because I'm still thirsty. She tried to run to find more food but I grabbed her before she had the chance.

" Hey, let go of me." I grabbed her arms and told her how risky it was to be us. Then, the sun came out and nearly burned us so we ran home and closed all the curtains.

KATE'S POV

We got home and she sat and cried for at least 20 minutes.

" Shut up, okay. I'm fine I swear I am. In fact, so fine that I'm going to feed on animal blood okay?" She stood up and she squeezed the hell out of me.

So that night when Dillinger and En were arguing, I snuck out and tried to find something to eat. When I got into the Woods I saw a deer. Bon appetit. Then,I smelled blood, human blood, so I ran towards the smell and saw a man on the ground bleeding. Don't, you promised.

" Are...you...okay, sir?" I asked as calm as I can. Then,I ran over to him and sucked his delicious blood, so sweet and warm. Then,I let his body drop.

"Ooh, youngster. This is illegal isn't that right?" I turned around and saw.....
