Raine: I'm sitting in bed and I need to regress cause I'm feeling overly stressed and alots been going on recently but I don't want to cause I feel like it's embarrassing I mean who acts like a child to heal trauma it's just..weird and I shouldn't be doing it it's not normal. what would the others think of me..that I'm disgusting and gross I don't want them to think that..I'll just push it down for now and I'll be fine.

Eda: "Hey, Rainestorm!" I said as I came into the bedroom "how are you?" "Me- I'm all right! You?" Raine asked "I'm doin ok!, you sure your all right? You don't sound well..it's ok to not be ok Rainestorm" "i otay- I mean.." Raine started to tear up and hugged their legs panicking "oh dear, what's wrong?" I asked "shh" "i i sory i nu supos be baby it gros i supos b big kid nubody wan big kid who act like baby" Raine said sobbing "so you're a little?" I asked getting a shaky nod "oh come here flower it's ok" I said pulling them into a hug "it's ok to be little melody. There's no harm or shame in a coping mechanism i love you either way!" "Mm..Fankie" a moment of cuddles past "wanna play little harmony?" I asked ":0 yes pes" I picked up Raine and carried them out to the front room and we played for a good hour or 2 we played with blocks, cars, dolls, puzzles, we colored etc! "Wanna make cookies?" I asked "Yes yes yes!!" Raine answered happily we went to the kitchen i preheated the oven and I grabbed a tray I made the cookie dough and we made fun and silly shapes until the oven beeped we put them in to let cook for 20-25 mins when they were done i took them out and we let them cook before eating some! I made a bottle and took Raine upstairs for a nap "nap time huh flower?" I earned a nod in response we laid down and I fed them the bottle while the fell asleep. Once they were asleep I took to bottle to the kitchen to clean it.

40 mins later

Raine: I woke up and about 5 minutes after I woke up Eda walked in "Hey melody" she said "how are you feelin little one?" She asked I panicked and started breathing heavily remaining silent "Rainestorm?" Eda said. How could I let myself slip how could I let myself do something so stupid so embarrassing Eda hugged me tight "it's ok Raine I'm here" she said "can you mimic my breathing dear?" She asked with a big breath in and a big breath out I copied her and calmed down "I- I didn't mean to slip I'm sorry it's so embarrassing and stupid I-" Eda cut me off "Rainstorm there is nothing wrong with a healthy coping mechanism your not hurting anyone or anything right?" "Mm..no" I answered "then it's completely ok and I'll love you no matter what!" She said with a smile "Thank you Edalyn" I said laying in her arms "no problem Rainestorm" she smiled and we cuddled for a bit before going downstairs to have dinner then taking showers and getting in pjs before bed we talked it over and Edas my mama we had some more playtime before bed then we went to bed!
