Brother Bear

I first met him,

in the month of November.

I know this because

Seven days later

He started dating my best friend.

He's made me laugh

He's made me cry.

I don't know where I'd be without this guy.

The one who picked me up

when I fell.

Or the one who held my hand

And helped me understand

Everything was going to be alright.

Through the rivers and hunters

My brother bear has never wanted me to fail

Because he smiled when I smiled due to success,

and I did the same to him.

Brother bear, he stood up for me when I needed it.

Through heart breaks and parent betrayals

My brother bear

was always there.
