Chapter 20: Third Person POV

After about thirty minutes Niall comes back down the stairs all clean and sexy in a salmon colored tee and khaki shorts. Walking down he hoped Jaspar was still there so he could feed him some more salad. He couldn't help the goofy smile that appeared on his face at the memory. He was aware that Jasper feeding him wasn't that big of a deal but to him it was more than just a helpful gesture. To him it felt sweet and intimate; something he's been missing in his life for a long time.

And maybe Niall was just over analyzing everything a bit too much. but can you blame him? Niall was a romantic. He never really had to chase down a love interest before but maybe that's why he liked him so much. He didn't make himself easy like girls Niall met. Jasper was different. He was a good different that Niall needed in his life and he didn't mind a good chase.

Once downstairs he was a but disappointed to see that Jasper was no longer downstairs. He was most likely outside with his mother and the other girls and there was no doubt they were spilling some more stories about Niall. He shook his head and made his way outside to steal Jasper away but there was a detour in the kitchen stopping him from leaving the house.

He couldn't look away. He was too much in shock but at the same time he wasn't surprised. He was more shocked that they were in his mothers house playing tonsil tennis with a big chance of getting caught. But at the same time he couldn't help but smile and be happy for his two friends knowing that both of them had been through a lot these past months. His happiness soon faded to disgust when he heard Harry let out a high pitched moan.

"Stop!" Niall said and the two boys pulled away quickly and the blond grimaced at the string of saliva trailing on their lips.

"Hey Ni. What's up?" Liam asked running a hand through his hair trying to act as if nothing happened. Niall looked at him dumbfounded. Was he serious? Did he just try to pretend that him and Harry weren't just swapping spit? Niall couldn't believe him but he didn't say anything. it was obvious they didn't want people to know about them so Niall wouldn't press until they admitted to it.

Shaking his head he walked past his friends, "next time you guys want to make out make sure it's not out in the open," he informed them and walked out. He heard Harry calling out to him but he chose to ignore him. Niall wasn't mad he was just disappointed that they didn't trust him about their relationship, if that's what it was. But Niall was patient and he would wait until they were ready. He just hoped they were happy.

But all that confusion left him when he was Jasper laughing with his family having a good time. Niall didn't know all that much about Jaspers past but he knew that he didn't have all this growing up. He only received pain and fake love. All the things a child didn't need and Niall just wanted to help him forget everything.

He walked closer to the table his family was sitting at but when he got in ear shot they stopped talking and laughing when they saw him. He looked at them with a skeptical look. Their faces were turning red from holding in their laughter and he just wanted to know what they were talking about.

"What?" Niall questioned but his mother shook her head. "Nothing," she said quickly and started talking about something else. He sighed and squared down next to Jaspers ear. Jasper shivered and Niall couldn't help but smirk. "wanna take a walk?" He asked him, purposely letting his lips touch the shell of Jaspers ear. He gulped feeling his body grow hot and nodded.

Niall smiled and stood up helping Jasper from his chair and as soon as they walked away his family started to burst out laughing. Niall looked at them and then at Jasper when he heard him chuckle. Jasper covered his mouth and blushed. "what were you guys talking about?" Niall asked and Jasper shook his head. "nothing." Niall sighed shaking his head faking being mad and walked ahead of Jasper.
